BREAKING: Iran has delivered its highly anticipated "10-point" response to the US' "15-point peace plan."
Iran's 10-point plan includes:
1. Guarantee that Iran will not be attacked again
2. Permanent end to the war, not just a ceasefire
3. End to Israeli strikes in Lebanon
4. Lifting of all US sanctions on Iran
5. End to all regional fighting against Iranian allies
6. In return, Iran would open the Strait of Hormuz
7. Iran would impose a Hormuz fee of $2 million per ship
8. Iran would split these fees with Oman
9. Iran to provide rules for safe passage through Hormuz
10. Iran to use Hormuz fees for reconstruction instead of reparations
President Trump's "deadline" for a peace deal with Iran is 25 hours away.
@0xmarchesss@historyinmemes He shoves a bandage in to the area where he got shot at after the clip cuts. His character was shot. Adrenaline and shock are extremely good painkillers.
@historyinmemes Overthinking at its finest. It was clearly just a prop malfunction or a continuity error that they didn't bother to fix in post. People love making up deep symbolism for scenes that were honestly just filler to make the movie longer
In Saving Private Ryan, the moment where the medic’s canteen leaks water before blood serves as a subtle symbol—water represents life, and the blood that follows signals that life slipping away.
@ForSureHooman@WeaponsVault Quantity. Roughly 62,000 AT rifles versus almost 315,000 Panzerschrek built.
Not to mention the Panzerschrek was taken from the Germans meaning it cost America nothing to create so there’s no concern about trying to financially break even.
@molecularmatcha@TRHLofficial “Possession is 9/10ths of the law. The other tenth is the guy with the gun.”
They may hold it but enough pissed off armed people come together and they won’t be keeping it for long in theory.
@TRHLofficial The same who currently hoard the majority of assets will also hoard the majority of that gold. Just try and stop that, lol. And life will be relatively unchanged, except you might see more gold about -- but then maybe not.
@LanceAcree@armandofellin1@ron_eisele Fun fact about it. It was a tactic adopted so late in the war and so few planes could be fielded for it that America didn’t even know there was a coordinated ramming offensive until after the war ended and German documentation about it was uncovered.
4 April 1945. Death of Heinrich Ehrler (b. 14 September 1917). German WWII fighter ace. After over 400 combat missions and achieving 208 victories, he rammed a B-24 with his Me-262 after having run out of ammunition.
@1JankyAnarchist@WarRoomArchives Just like how it wasn’t worth it to bring back $7 billion in equipment? Great idea there to leave it for ENEMY COMBATANTS.
Great work Biden administration…
@WarRoomArchives It's less expensive to destroy and replace it than it is to transport it all, and is less dangerous for the soldiers that would be tasked with securing it and transporting it during the many trips it would take. At least that's what they've told us, over the years.
@jkzj6ktswc@VinnieSull1van@BygoneBritain WW1 wasn’t fought for anyone’s “freedom” it was a pointless family war between monarchs that killed millions of people across the world.
"Dear Mother, I am writing these few lines severely wounded. We have done well, our battalion advanced about 3/4's of a mile. I am laid in a shell hole, with 2 wounds in my hip and through my back. I cannot move or crawl at all. I have been here for 24 hours and never seen a living soul. I hope you will receive these few lines as I don't expect anyone will come to take me away. But you know I have done my duty our here now for 1 year and 8 months and you will always have the consolation that I died quite happy doing my duty. You must give my best to all the cousins who have been so kind to me for the time I have been out here, and the best of love to Mother and Harry and all at Swinefleet."
- A note from Private John Duesbury that was found on his body after the Battle of the Somme (WW1).
What a waste.
American cities are literally crumbling while we are spending billions every day fighting a war in Iran.
When will we end the madness and put America first?
How many fucking taxes pay for roads? All of them? Do all the taxes pay for roads? Why can’t anyone come up with any first example other than roads?
The question is rhetorical because the answer is obvious; people have no fucking clue what the government does with our tax dollars
I’m very confused about the number of people who think “property tax” is a sales tax on you home rather than taxes to pay for public services you use every day.
“I paid off my home why do i still pay property taxes?!?!?”
Oh, did you also stop using the roads and libraries and sidewalks and parks? Not worried about fires anymore?
@khaos_swordsman@AjApplegoose@rushicrypto Not entirely. Loophole would be never buy property.
Make it a hybrid. Homeowner pays property taxes. If not a home owner you pay income taxes.
I still despise taxes full stop but there’s an idea there.
@RightKindOfEyez@Son_of_Mars_III Japanese Americans forced in to camps in WW2…
Some of which petitioned the US government to allow them to fight on behalf of the US in Europe during WW2.
I’d say they both deserved and earned that shit.
@maxiimo22@DyingLightGame Don’t make a leap of faith? I get what you mean and I’ve been killed by that way too many times but I’d think 1 life mode it would make us not take foolhardy risks unless there is no other choice.
@DyingLightGame I hope the grappling hook is fixed in one-life mode because it always fails you every time you do a leap of faith and doesn't stick to anything, leaving you to die from the fall.
