@PublicEd_vocate @NoContextBrits 😮 I just found some! Amazing. In a few days I will also be the proud owner of some Liz Line socks! Brilliant!

@raulpacheco @Schiphol Also: how could anyone not love an airport with cheese shops??
English

@raulpacheco @Schiphol It is such an interesting airport. Lots to see and explore - and lots of walking to get to some gates!
English

I understand this “favourite airport in the entire world” business is very personal, but honestly I *love* @Schiphol

It has been 35 years since the Montreal Massacre at École Polytechnique.
On December 6,1989, 14 young women were murdered and 14 other people were injured in a deadly mass shooting attack, motivated by misogyny. 🧵#rememberthe14

@AStewar31169904 @BogochIsaac I was in Sudbury in September, and it was baseball teams.
English

@petermansbridge @ChantalHbert @bruceanderson @CanadaTalks167 I was a postgrad student in London at the time. I went to bed that night not knowing what would happen. The next morning, unspeakable relief was shared amongst all of us Canadian students.

📣 School is for kids.
Schools are often the heartbeat of a community, but at their core, they exist for one purpose: to serve students. The hardest part of education isn’t the kids—it’s remembering that every decision should come back to them.
Every kid.
🔹 Schools are for the kids whose parents work long hours and don’t always have time to help with homework.
🔺 Schools are for the kids who are still learning English and need extra patience.
🔹 Schools are for the kids with disabilities who shine when given the right support.
🔺 Schools are for the kids whose behavior gets in the way of learning because they’re still figuring out how to manage big emotions.
🔹 Schools are for the kids who miss often and need someone to understand what’s really going on.
🔺 Schools are for the kids who ace every test but struggle to make friends.
🔹 Schools are for the kids who light up on the ball field but wrestle with academics.
🔺 Schools are for the kids who may never play a sport but come alive in robotics or art.
🔹 Schools are for the kids whose home life is shaky and school becomes their safe place.
🔺 Schools are for the kids who can’t yet see a future for themselves—until a teacher helps them believe in one.
Schools are for every kid.
Not just my kid. Not just your kid.
Not some kids. Not most kids.
Every single one.

Air Canada to Restart Flights Following Government Referral of CUPE Negotiations to Binding Arbitration: aircanada.com/media/air-cana…

English

@laura_z_b @AirCanada On Wednesday I was on hold for two hours before reaching an agent.
English

@AirCanada Is there anyone even answering phones at the call centre? Has anyone been able to get through?
English

@AirCanada How much notice will you give for cancelled flights? Trying to get my minor child home and the flight is still showing as “on time”, not cancelled.
