I read the AD&D DMG at too young an age and learned to read words I'd never heard anyone say. My parents had no idea what a "hobilar" even was, let alone how to correct its pronunciation. To this day I mispronounce dozens of words because of this. Who else suffers the same?

@ReaseStoneheart @archon Used to read a lot when I was younger and was the same. In my head I had some awful pronunciation and just never realised they weren't remotely right until I heard them elsewhere

@archon I literally mispronounce words all the time. I cannot tell you how many times I will use a word correctly, get some chortles and chuckles, and then one of my buttmunch friends go "Do you mean <word pronounced differently>?"
