We just wrapped our US East Coast sprint. 🇺🇸 5 stops. 9 days. Yale, NYU, Fordham. Together with @1inch, we brought hands-on DeFi workshops straight to campus, covering wallets, security, and the emerging Agentic Economy.

@crypto_with_seb you called it Seb 🫡 been quietly stacking positions for this exact rotation. @orbitals_gg just went live on Solana too so the timing is kinda perfect for jumping between chains

RWA market hit $31B. Stablecoins crossed $300B. PENDLE up 50%+ in 30 days. Yet most participants are spectating from DefiLlama rather than deploying capital 🧵

@Cointelegraph wild that $1T is moving through stables this month and most of that DeFi activity happens across like 6 different protocols 😭 been using @orbitals_gg beta and the whole point is you stop juggling tabs and just act on the liquidity

DeFi Is Moving From Yield Hunting to Yield Infrastructure The next phase of DeFi will be defined less by who finds the highest APY and more by who builds the best system for managing capital. That is why vault infrastructure matters. 1) The old game was discovery For a long time, users won by finding the best visible opportunity. • the highest APY • the latest farm • the freshest incentives • the fastest capital rotation That model rewarded speed and attention. It also created a fragmented user experience where every opportunity required new decisions, new workflows, and new operational effort. 2) The new game is coordination @ConcreteXYZ’s docs describe a very different model. At its core, Concrete simplifies three things: • vault creation • asset management • automated operations That sounds simple, but it reflects a major shift. The product is no longer only a yield destination. The product becomes a coordination layer that connects assets, strategies, accounting, and automation into one system. 3) Capital is now managed as infrastructure Once funds enter the vault, the capital does not sit idle. Concrete states that deposited assets are allocated across strategies, while automated systems update fees, yield, and accounting continuously. Their Earn framework adds research, monitoring, and dynamic rebalancing to maximize risk-adjusted returns over time. That means yield is increasingly being treated as infrastructure: • research identifies opportunity • automation executes allocation • monitoring tracks changes • rebalancing adjusts exposure • accounting keeps NAV and performance precise This is much closer to an operating system for on-chain capital than a simple vault menu. 4) Standardization expands the opportunity set Concrete’s use of ERC-4626 is important here. The standard gives vaults a more uniform model for deposits, withdrawals, and yield accounting, while also improving interoperability across DeFi. In practice, this means vault shares are easier to integrate into other applications and easier to understand as a financial building block. Standardization matters because infrastructure scales best when assets, shares, and accounting follow common rules. 5) Shares become active capital Concrete makes this even more explicit with ct[asset] tokens. The platform says these vault shares: • appreciate as the vault generates yield • can be used for liquidity and trading • can be used for leverage • can become the base layer for new derivatives and structured products That is a major design choice. A traditional deposit ends at yield accrual. A composable vault share extends the position into the rest of DeFi. The share itself becomes productive capital. 6) Why this changes market behavior When yield infrastructure becomes stronger, users begin to evaluate systems differently. They start asking: • which vault architecture handles accounting best • which automation layer manages allocations better • which strategy framework adapts faster • which shares create the most downstream utility At that point, competition shifts from app screens and APY snapshots toward system design. 7) Why Concrete fits this trend Concrete presents itself as institutional-grade on-chain infrastructure and positions Earn as a system that lets users deposit once while the quantitative layer allocates, rebalances, and compounds yield across opportunities. The platform also highlights scale metrics, including $902.3M in assets on platform and $11.25B processed. That combination of standardization, automation, and composability is exactly what pushes DeFi from yield hunting toward yield infrastructure. 8) Final takeaway The future of DeFi belongs to products that make yield easier to understand and easier to structure. Concrete Vaults matter because they package research, allocation, automation, accounting, and composability into one system. That gives users more than a number on a dashboard. It gives them a framework for participating in on-chain finance with more clarity and more leverage. Explore Concrete at app.concrete.xyz
