Whilst sitting in the dirt photographing caterpillars like a weirdo, I overheard someone ask (in Persian) "Why is she sitting down?" to which his friend replied "because she is a photographer". I find that to be an amazing answer 😂 Glad I was able to understand it!

#Birding is dangerous. My friend and I were so engrossed in our conversation about a fucking duck that we missed our turnoff by 20 minutes and accidentally ended up in line at the border crossing without our passports. Oops!

This handsome fellow is an eland that @TheTorontoZoo named 'Ed the Sock'. As you can tell by the last picture, he has a limited amount of patience for people too. Haven't been able to arrange a meeting w/my namesake yet but hopefully we will. Toronto's zoo is one of the best.
