. @steipete The innovations coming now are very cool, but the bottleneck is APIs. Agents can't book a flight or an Uber or a restaurant table or transact because the systems don't let them in. What's being done to fix that?

@AbiluTangwa How do you make money? You certainly don't know anything about climate, so I would love to know how this makes money for you.

Forests stabilize climate better than any tech we’ve invented. Protecting existing forests is 8–12× more effective at carbon storage than planting new ones. The cheapest carbon capture device already exists — it’s called a tree. 🌲

The hardest part is starting, and it's okay not to be an expert. The simplest first step? Talk about it. We often underestimate how many people care about climate change. #ClimateAction #StartNow

@FiatLuxGenesis What about for alfalfa? What's the ratio of water and land use for alfalfa vs data centers?

I've decided that not a single acre of mountain land, agricultural land, forest, or wild desert is worth sacrificing for AI data centers. No river, no lake, no reservoir should be touched to maintain them.

At a meeting in Palm Springs, and ironically one of the sessions was on climate change. One can debate causes, solutions, and trade offs… but rational people simply cannot not continue to deny that our climate is changing in dangerous way. It’s March y’all. 🥵🤦🏽‍♂️

Stop reacting to climate change; start being proactive. The idea that 'it can't be that bad because it hasn't been' is no longer a valid argument. Preparation is key. #ClimateAction #Preparedness

More than 420 US counties had their warmest winter in 131 years. Less snow and more heat increase the risk of wildfire. It’s only March, and we’re hitting all the wrong records. axios.com/2026/03/16/win…

If you can convince people that CO₂ is dangerous and all human activity results in CO₂, including every breath they take, then you have ultimate control. It's genius.

We are witnessing a convergence of climate stressors, an early-season heatwave across the American Southwest with Los Angeles approaching record-breaking 100°F temperatures last seen in 1989. Elevated PM2.5 levels mean this heat carries deeper risk, as fine particulate pollution penetrates the lungs and intensifies health impacts. This is a compounded public health event where extreme heat and air quality interact, demanding urgent attention to how cities respond to a rapidly shifting climate baseline.

This will drop global temps almost immediately. You can't mathematically blame co2 for temp increases. You can blame land clearing. Trees, tall grass, and other vegetation blocks the sun 🌞 from reaching the ground. The ground retains heat. Plants diffuse heat.

We're pushing our climate to a place humans haven't experienced. Our societies, cities, and infrastructure were built for a stable climate. Now, that's changing. #ClimateChange #Environment

Thousands of sandhill cranes never left Nebraska the entire winter, but sure keep denying that the climate is changing and getting warmer on average. It’s not like climate change is going to radically alter the agricultural industry or anything.
Nebraska Public Media News@NebPubMediaNews

Nebraska is having its third-warmest winter on record, but not everyone is complaining about the temperatures. Around 35,000 Sandhill cranes spent the winter in Nebraska rather than migrating south for warmer weather. nebraskapublicmedia.org/en/news/news-a…

@UNDRR It's always something. Bugs, bees, butterflies, trees, sea level, tsunamis, snow, ice, dandruff - it doesn't matter, as long as it gets attention and money.

Per @AndyMasley's new tool, alfalfa growers in Colorado alone use 16 times as much water each year as all the data centers in the United States.
