Pretty sure that isn't the issue. Issue is she was constantly lying the whole time up to the marriage and in it. Clearly can't trust someone if they hide a past like that from you. You can only do so much. Girls by design have fluctuating hormones due to cycles, and they also were created by god to be a companion to man (Adam and Eve) They are easier to persuade and mislead. Men can end up the same way when you spare the rod but it is more difficult. That is why it is important that the men of your family AGREE with who you are choosing. Men can sniff out bad actors way easier than girls can.

I've noticed the more morally bankrupt or brainwashed someone is, the harder they become unhinged at the mention of a divine being.... that or they'll try to dilute the concept with things like "We are interconnected maaaaan." Other things they'll do is pretend they are of that thing then muddy the moral rules. Half the reason I believe in YAHWEH the Christian God is thanks to these people. They attack, dillute, destroy, and try their utmost to poison the word he left behind. That is why I own a 1560 Geneva Bible as well. (A good example of muddying the teachings even if unknowing is when modern TV shows and people constantly pushed the narrative that CAIN was cursed with immortality, even though it was complete opposite, unable to bear fruits of the land... small change but huge difference)
