How can you be a DoF of a top six club for two seasons and both of those seasons have led to the club loitering at 17th place.

Why isn't Porro taking our corners I thought he was the best set piece taker in the team?

@FootballForeca3 I think playing him close to Solanke or two strikers might be the move, We can use Solanke's hold up abilities, and use the other striker as a pure 9. This will however require a passer in the central midfield which we lack.

@PurgedLevyBot Guess he did score a pen. But at least for now I would say VDV showed more creativity. But did thrive playing closer to Crouch. Different eras though. I don't know what Simons will fully develop to at Spurs but for now he does seem closer to a VDV than a De Bruyne.

After a full season on Xavi Simons: not your classic playmaker. Elite vision? Elite creativity? Not quite there. Passing weight inconsistent, zero killer through balls. He wants to be a ball-striker & finisher. More of a goal threat than an orchestrator. That profile thrives in attack-heavy systems like the Bundesliga — but in the Premier League, fitting him as a pure #10 is tricky. For #THFC to fully unlock him will require proper technicians deeper/wide linking up with his runs & shots.

@VivekVRao1 Even the vanilla models have been pretty good, granted I was just trying to code the Heston model and train it on historical data out of sheer curiosity. And yeah it was a massive help with optimization.

My experience with Claude Code has been different. I asked it to write programs to fit various GARCH models (symmetric, GJR-GARCH, NAGARCH, EGARCH etc.) with various noise distributions (normal, Student t, GED, normal inverse-gaussian) and am impressed by its knowledge of optimization methods (it implemented BFGS), GARCH models, and probability distributions. It can do math such as computing the analytical gradient of a log-likelihood function, which speeds optimization. It implements Bessel functions as needed and in some code it cited the famous Abramowitz and Stegun math handbook. When I checked the references, they were correct.
Santiago@svpino

Claude is the perfect complement for me: Whenever I have a question I can't answer, I ask Claude, and it gives me the perfect answer every time. But as soon as I ask Claude something I do know, the answer is usually horseshit.

I don't think people still realise that Thomas Frank dragged us into a relegation fight and pundits were trying to gaslight us into thinking that he wasn't to blame. Tudor's last two performances eclipse every game played under Thomas Frank.
