Hardik Pandya's emotional message to Mumbai Indians team after last night loss :
🗣️- "Taking from what I have just said, I think here there is two options we can do. One is go back in our rooms, go back in our cup room spaces and try to figure it out. I know it's tough, losing is always tough, but let's learn, let's not get disappeared.
It's always winning and learning, never losing. So let's do that, that's what something which tonight after the game, once we go back to the hotel, we'll have meal together, we'll figure something out, we'll talk about cricket, we'll talk about something else, but we'll figure it out."
@NHAI_Official@kiranshaw The newly constructed Silk board flyover from BTM layout connecting Hosur road has not resolved any traffic congestion. Instead it has become a bottle neck once it converges at the Roopenaagrahara stop.
A skywalk at Bommanahalli junction is the need of the hour.
Thank you for your concern. NHAI informs that this stretch, planned in 2005 and completed in 2010, has since seen rapid urban & industrial growth and now falls under multiple authorities, including GBA and municipalities like Hebbagodi, Chandapura & Attibele. Currently, the stretch handles very high traffic volumes, with over 1 lakh daily commuters, adding to operational and maintenance challenges.
Regular maintenance is being carried out by the concessionaire. Periodic renewal works, including overlay, were completed in April 2025. The carriageway is presently in good condition and free from potholes. To ease congestion & eliminate blackspots, NHAI has proposed 4 Vehicular Overpasses (VOPs), including at Veerasandra (Biocon). Work is ongoing at 3 locations.
Whilst @NHAI_Official boasts of its road infrastructure across the country why is the country’s key IT corridor NH44 (formerly NH7) viz Hosur Road so shoddily designed and ill maintained? It’s an eyesore - the medians n barricades are terrible n the shoulders are not asphalted @nitin_gadkari Despite several complaints over several years there is no response. Is this what @NHAI_Official considers its proud track record? @TVMohandasPai@ELCITA_IN
Gym jihad and Love Jihad in Hubli :
Gym trainer Sameer Taseem Mulla took a Hindu girl to his house, gave her intoxicating substances, raped her, recorded a video and then blackmailed her.
During the police investigation photos of several hindu young women photo were found.
@Dev_Fadnavis A 'Complete man' in business, who penned a book titled 'An incomplete life'
What a misery...he dressed the world with elegance and grace, but he himself ended up in disgrace...
Deeply saddened to know about the demise of former Chairman of Raymond Group, Padma Bhushan Dr. Vijaypat Singhania ji.
His contribution to the textile industry, his philanthropy and adventurous spirit will continue to inspire generations together.
‘Raymond - The Complete Man’ is not just a tagline we all grew up with, but has set many trends - right from quality and perfection in entrepreneurship to communication and brand.
I offer my humble tributes to the man who set the legacy called ‘Raymond’ Group.
And deepest condolences to his family, friends and admirers.
ॐ शान्ति
@lakshaymehta08 Look at his face, he has no guilt. The crime done on an innocent girl is serious. A death sentence will instill fear for every such monster...
You may recognise actor Sharib Hashmi as JK from The Family Man, the steady presence beside Srikant on screen. In real life, that steadiness comes from his wife, Nasreen Hashmi.
For nearly three decades, Nasreen has been Sharib’s anchor. A four-time cancer survivor, she has stood beside him through every turning point, from leaving a stable job to pursue acting to navigating years of financial uncertainty.
When life tested them again and Nasreen was diagnosed with oral cancer, Sharib stayed by her side through every stage of the battle, sharing her pain and supporting her through recovery.
Today, even after acclaimed roles and national recognition, Sharib still turns to Nasreen on difficult days. She remains his source of strength, courage, and calm.
Spanning over 30 years, their partnership reflects commitment built on trust, resilience, and standing together through every season of life.

Delhi | Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar says, "I don’t think I need to disclose whom I met inside 10 Janpath, we are not ready to talk about politics in the streets, we have met our high command and discussed what has to be discussed. Once I came here, we met and spoke about many things; I don’t need to disclose that. We came here to discuss political things, not just to breathe air."
@ANI Samrat Ashoka...you and the great Vijendra had all the opportunities to dethrone this Congress government, But, you are just playing adjustment politics...So, don't try to fool people...
Bengaluru, Karnataka: BJP leader & LoP R Ashoka says, "In one tweet, he (DK Shivakumar) conveys a hundred meanings. In one word, he conveys tens of meanings. That is why everyone is confused. Not only us, but people from the ruling party are also confused. Why does this man talk like this? Let him speak clearly. Let him clearly explain the meaning of what he says.”

@INCKerala First of all, what this guy has to do sitting in the front row. Turn potatoes into gold???
For a person who is disrespecting India with his hate speeches abroad, a seat even in the last row isn't deserved...
The Leader of Opposition is a constitutional post, not a courtesy extended by the government. Individuals come and go, but the office must command respect. By pushing the LOP Shri Rahul Gandhi to the 3rd row at the Republic Day parade, the Modi govt has shown open contempt for constitutional norms.
Bengaluru | Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar says, "In Congress, those who sit on the stage are not leaders, the workers working at the booth level are the real leaders, and our Congress party was established 140 years ago. We are called Congresspeople. This history is not for others. What history does the BJP have? We were born for the independence of this country... Is it possible to remove Mahatma Gandhi's name from history?... I have written a book on Gandhi. I will have it released by President Mallikarjun Kharge. I have planned to build 100 Congress offices, 70 have already been built. We are going to build state and district Congress buildings in Bengaluru. We will discuss this in the next cabinet..."
@rishibagree Then why the hell do we need a judicial system, when these so called leaders can take such calls, giving the wrong impression that after indulging in such acts the culprits will be released within no time.
UPA govt under the leadership of Rahul & Sonia Gandhi released 25 Pakistani terrorists after Mumbai blasts, as a goodwill gesture to Pakistan.
They almost decided to give lifetime pensions to the families of slain terrorists.

Belagavi | Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar says," The newly elected KSCA chairman and the team came and met me and the CM. They have given a memorandum (about holding IPL in Chinnaswamy stadium), and we have told them that we will discuss it in the Cabinet and decide. An accident which shouldn’t have happened occurred. But now we have to move forward by following all the guidelines. I personally think it is a matter of prestige for Karnataka, and it shouldn’t be ruined."
On the hate speech bill being opposed by the BJP, he says, "They are the fathers of hate speech, spreading hate between religions and communities...We are doing all this to save the Constitution."
@ians_india IndiGo has more than 70% flight share in aviation services. Such monopolies in the service sector will always give undue advantage to dictate terms...
Ahalya of Kashi -The Flame That Stood Firm
The year was 1669 CE.
Aurangzeb’s forces were moving through Kashi, and the Kashi Vishwanath Temple knew it was next. As the soldiers entered Vishwanath Gali, the priests quietly removed the jyotirlinga, wrapped it in cloth, and sent two young disciples running toward the river to hide it far from danger.
Inside the temple, only one person stayed behind -Ahalya, the old lamp-keeper who had tended the sacred flame since her youth.
When the soldiers burst into the courtyard, they demanded the idol.
Ahalya stepped before the sanctum and said simply,
“Where faith stands guard, no empire can enter.”
Furious, they tried to force open the doors.
Ahalya shut the sanctum, wedging an iron rod across the handles, buying precious moments. Then she lifted the ghee lamp her jyoti the same flame she had lit every morning for decades.
As the soldiers finally broke through, she threw the burning lamp into the heap of dry offerings. A sudden blaze filled the chamber, blocking the soldiers’ path with smoke and fire.
In that chaos, Ahalya fell but her sacrifice had already done its work.
By the time the flames died down, the disciples carrying the linga had reached safety across the river. The sacred symbol of Vishwanath endured because one woman refused to step aside.
Kashi remembers her not for her strength, but for her courage the lone devotee who met an army with nothing but a lamp.
Lest we forget.
Bengaluru | Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah says, "I have come for breakfast at his(Dy CM DK Shivakumar) home. DK Shivakumar came to my place for breakfast, and he invited me to come for breakfast or lunch at his house. So, he suggested coming on Tuesday. So I came today, and we had breakfast. We discussed party-related matters. More importantly, the Assembly session is starting next Monday. They said they will bring a no-confidence motion. BJP and JD(S) are planning to oppose whatever decisions we take. Our government is pro-farmer. We also discussed issues related to maize and sugarcane. I have spoken to the farmers, and the government has decided the price. I have also spoken to farmers, poultry farmers and fishery farmers..."
@DKShivakumar Dear DKS, Until Siddhu retires from politics, your dream of becoming CM is ruled out. Come out with your supporting MLAs and join hands with BJP, your wish will be fulfilled immediately. BJP doesn't have a true leader to lead the party locally for the next 2 elections.
@thebetterindia Any nation is fortunate to have such courageous warriors, but for any daughter such loss is unbearable...God bless you and your beloved family DIVYA...
“Dad never came home early. That night, however, he did. When I asked him, he said, ‘I wanted to surprise you.’ I remember asking him to take me for a long drive and ice cream. My mother intervened, saying, ‘Let him eat, and then you can go.’ She had made egg curry for him."
"I cannot stand the smell of eggs, so I told him, ‘Call me once you are done eating; I’ll be in my bedroom.’ Little did I know that it would be the last memory I ever had of my father. Just sitting by the dining table, smiling at me, eating his food", says Divya Salaskar, 21, on the dreadful night of 26/11.
The world may have immortalised encounter specialist Vijay Salaskar as a brave martyr who laid down his life fighting terrorists during Mumbai’s 26/11 attacks.
But to Divya, he was her best friend, her ‘control room’ for every problem under the sun, and most importantly, just her ‘Dad’.
In an exclusive interview with The Better India, Divya narrates how 26/11 changed not just the lives of those inside hijacked spaces but also their loved ones who watched the horror unfold on their television Sets.
You may be gone, but you continue to live on in our hearts, Vijay Salaskar. A twenty-one-gun salute to you!

Belagavi, Karnataka | BJP leader Ramesh Jarkiholi said, "... If DK Shivakumar shows the strength of at least 50 MLAs, he can become the CM immediately. But, he does not have that much support... DK Shivakumar was the main reason for the fall of the Congress-JDS coalition government in the past. I myself took the lead in toppling the government because of his interference in Belagavi politics... If DK Shivakumar comes to the BJP, I will not agree. There is no question of my accepting him in my life. If that situation arises, let's see what God will advise then..." (24.11)
