The brave men and women of our military don’t get to go home for holidays. I missed everything from birthdays to Christmas while in Afghanistan because the nation was counting on me. These passages above so accurately depict our broken world.  The world calls good evil and evil good. (Isaiah 5:20)  This is why the manipulation of language is so evil. We as Christians are charged to scour the scriptures - to learn and practice what is good and reject evil.  Listed below are some scriptures that highlight what God defines as evil - not a popular message in our culture today. People don't want to be told what is permissible and what isn't, yet these scriptures elucidate the observable evil all around us. Reference Scriptures: I Cor 6: 9-10 I Tim 1:8-10 Gal 5:19-21 Ephesians 5:5 Hebrews 12:14 As we approach Good Friday, let's remember why Jesus went to the Cross - to provide redemption for humanity because it's impossible for us to earn it on our own. Redemption is a precious eternal gift. I Cor 6:19-20 says, "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price.”  The price was Jesus' Crucifixion, Death on the Cross & Resurrection. Peace and be prepared.

Men, I took Mama B’s car to O’Reilly’s and they tested both batteries and the alternator. All are good. The computer code said to clean the terminals. I cleaned them. It still won’t start without being jumped off. What am I missing? I don’t have a dad I can ask anymore.

I am 28 years old, and I have lived my entire life suffocating under the Islamic Republic.
