Gas fees operation on Seismic Seismic is designed to be an EVM compatible blockchain that allows for absolute privacy which is applicable for fintech applications. @SeismicSys uses shielded transactions and encrypted state to protect sensitive data like transfers, loans and swaps. On seismic, developer tools support standard gas parameters which is similar to Ethereum operations. Transactional operations on Seismic follows EVM conventions including gas limits and gas prices because the code examples from official client docs shows explicit settings for gas and gasPrice (e.g., 1 Gwei). This structure ensures that computational costs are accounted for during execution. Gas fees compensate for resources used in processing shielded operations within trusted execution environments. This mechanism maintains compatibility with ethereum tooling while adding privacy controls via extra syntax. Seismic plans revenue from per transaction fees upon mainnet launch. Devnet focuses on privacy which allows for full fee operations that aligns with standard blockchain economics while testnet is about to fully kick start. Gmic to you all
