If you care about the potential of Destiny 3 then you’ll give aspects of Marathon a chance. They’re expanding the game to be friendly to any player so you should try it if you haven’t.

@clarityysix using player data not a small % of signatures, D2 has bout 200k daily users, estamated peaking at over a mil across all platforms, even a number close to or less that a mil would still be sizeable if we take deluxe and CE into account which is between €70 to 250+ per purchase

Even if every single one of those sigs paid £70 for the game, that’s only just around £12m, unfortunately that absolutely is NOT enough to convince sony to make D3
Assuming D3 would have the same budget of around $200m as marathon, it would need around 3 million signatures.

D2 has 200k, Warframe has 100k, BDO has also 200k, FF is much bigger around 700k+, and again i said they are JUST SIGNATURES, thats why im using player data. like the 1.6mil, even half that would still be a sufficient starting base.

Even if you 2x or 3x the population by the number of signatures, the numbers don't look great. You also can't assume every signature means a sale/player either.

@_the_aurora @ilikewalot thats just the numbers of signitures, that is still rising. D2 had a higher peak than warframe/FFXIV/blackdesert on steam, with an avarage of 200k users a day across all platfrom that would of estimated at 1.6million at its peak. most live service games don't come close.
