Clare's precise sewing, vintage aesthetic and unflappable nature have brought her to the Final. But can she win The Great British Sewing Bee? #SewingBee

What a great team who are currently redeployed from respiratory to ITU. Two respiratory nurse specialists and one specialist physio. We are so proud of them and can’t wait to welcome them home. @QAHospitalNews @QAHCopd

I find this photo of me waiting for our first patient both sad and moving. I wish we didn’t have to be here.

@RebeccaMLiv @amygriff36 Have you tried putting them in reverse Trendelenburg as well? We are having some good results with self proning/recovery position and have combined a head up tilt in a few. We are using ROX score and if there is a deterioration then don't encourage the patient to prone.

This weeks COVID learning: I remain sceptical about proning patients on CPAP... Proning improves SpO2 but patients feel breathless and can’t tolerate it for long. We’ve been able to wean FiO2 but there is no carry over when they turn back. Some patients felt too unwell to try.

As our friends and colleagues brave the font lines, we must also get ready for a series of aftershocks. It's very hard to plan this far ahead while we're in survival mode. We must prepare early and strategize our response to the collateral damage of #COVID19
