Found this gem today: “I Desperately Want To Be Coached” — Aaron Rodgers on QB decision-making under Mike McCarthy in Green Bay There’s three senses as a QB we talk about. 1. No premeditated decisions. 2. Don’t make a blind throw, confirm coverage elements. 3. Don’t throw it late down the middle. si.com/nfl/2015/09/09…

To those HS’s with full indoor facilities in the State of OK 🫡 But man, how special is it for our Q’s to learn that if you can throw in this (25mph+) winds, you can throw in anything.

@D6KLR Heck of a training ground! That Six kid kinda knows a thing or two lol. Took a little to get used to when I first got out here. Grew up a bit spoiled. Had to earn it out here!

@QCoachMoore Kam said this exact thing on Saturday to a group of Q’s. If you can throw in OK winds, you can throw anywhere.

To God be the glory! Excited to announce a major milestone in my coaching career as I’ve been elevated to Defensive Coordinator / Defensive Line Coach at Coffeyville Community College. Grateful for the opportunity and trust to lead this defensive unit under Head Coach Nick Dobler’s guidance. Ready to work, develop young men, and build a championship defense the right way. #RavenUp

One of the biggest misconceptions in quarterback development is reducing throwing velocity to “using the ground.” Ground reaction force matters. But it is only one variable inside a much larger biomechanical system. Throwing velocity is really about efficient force organization through the kinetic chain. If velocity were simply a product of linear force into the ground: •quarterbacks sitting in chairs would be incapable of generating meaningful velocity •off-platform throws would not exist •water polo players would not be able to create elite rotational speeds while floating in an unstable environment Yet all three happen consistently. Why? Because high-level throwers create and transfer energy through proximal-to-distal sequencing, pelvic-trunk dissociation, trunk stiffness, stretch-shortening cycles, and rotational acceleration. The feet help create stability, timing, and force production. But the real separator is whether the athlete can efficiently coil and uncoil the torso while transferring energy without leakage. The ground is an input. Sequencing is the engine.
