@HankFrank This formula applies to all sports (climber here). The part most people get wrong is #1. Too many people go max effort every session.
English

UNFORTUNATELY, the formula for getting faster at running is:
1. Easy pace should feel almost embarrassingly easy.
2. One hard effort a week. Maybe two. Done with intent.
3. Strength train. Twice a week. Every week.
4. Sleep like your training depends on it because it does.
5. Eat enough. Then eat more.
6. Cross train on the bike like it’s part of the plan, not a backup.
7. Show up on the days you don’t feel like it.
Nobody wants to hear it.
Everybody wants the shortcut.

UNFORTUNATELY, the formula for a body that doesn't age is: 1. Sleep before midnight. 2. Eat protein at every meal. 3. Walk after eating. 4. Mainly whole foods . 5. Magnesium every night. 6. Wild Roman cream every morning. 7. Workout daily . 8. And showing up even on the days you don't feel like it. Nobody wants to hear it. Everybody wants the shortcut.

I find this more impressive than any amount deadlifted.

Basic pull-ups were way too boring for him.

@DesireeAmerica4 If it’s a combined substance that is called “simulated blueberry”, why don’t they just write in on the front face of the package.
English

This isn't food anymore. It's a chemical science experiment.
Look closely at this label. There is not a single actual blueberry in these Costco bagels.
They are "Simulated Blueberries."
What does that actually mean? You are paying to feed your kids lab-created pellets made of corn syrup, cottonseed oil, and petroleum dyes (Red 40 and Blue 2).
In Europe, this exact chemical profile requires a literal cancer warning label.
Here? They just slap a picture of fruit on the bag and sell it as breakfast.
Why are we allowing these massive corporations to quietly poison the food supply just to save pennies on actual fruit?

ANNAPURNA: NO SUMMIT 🥹.
I couldn't make it to the summit. I reached 7500m without oxygen and decided to turn back.
Why?
It was freezing cold. Really freezing. I’ve never felt so cold in my life.
I hadn’t acclimatised properly, so I was moving very slowly.

@SenSanders Some form of Universal Basic Income will be introduced when AI and Robots will take over human jobs. Additionally, people will be able to generate income from participating in various machine learning programs.
English

I don’t often agree with Elon Musk, but I fear that he may be right when he says, “AI and robots will replace all jobs.”
So what happens to workers who have no jobs and no income?
AI & robotics must benefit all of humanity, not just billionaires.
Elon Musk@elonmusk
@Jason AI and robots will replace all jobs. Working will be optional, like growing your own vegetables, instead of buying them from the store.

@BearGrylls This is the way !
Btw, have been at Pasang Dawa Sherpa’s place, he said hi.
