Galactic Geckos NFT Project – A Cautionary Tale I recently had the unfortunate experience of purchasing an NFT from the Galactic Geckos project, which turned out to be a significant loss for me both financially and in terms of trust. I initially bought an NFT for 1.5 SOL, only to find that 75 SOL was deducted from my account instead. The remaining 73.5 SOL went directly to the founder, leaving me with a massive financial loss of 73.5 SOL. This was clearly an error or perhaps a deliberate scam, as it was nowhere mentioned in the project's terms or conditions. I attempted to reach out to the founder for clarification and a possible refund, but my efforts were met with complete disregard. Not only did the founder ignore my messages, but I was eventually banned from all their communication channels, leaving me with no way to resolve the issue or even express my concerns. This experience has left me extremely disappointed and wary of the Galactic Geckos project. The lack of transparency, the apparent disregard for community members, and the founder’s unprofessional behavior are major red flags. I would caution anyone considering investing in this project to proceed with extreme caution, as my experience suggests that the project might not be trustworthy. no way you should accept a $14k loss for that (and of course SOL is cheaper now). shouldn't even eat a $5 loss for that. why should royalty status be user problem when this metadata/royalty changing for 'stolen' nfts isn't standard? push for refund (unless there is something to the story im really missing). you being mad about having $14k in limbo isn't justification for not refunding/banning.

The fact that a team member bought it cheap because they didn’t have to pay those royalties like a normal buyer is even crazier.
