I remember a thread on Nairaland where a Nigerian guy traveled to Kazakhstan and started making jest of Nigeria, claiming the place was better. After about six months, the same guy started cursing his travel agent on the same thread and also began advising people not to come to the country. He said it was too cold, with no work available, and that they had to sleep outside on the streets in the cold. The guy later died in that same country, the same year he traveled there.
