This was land that the Amish family across the street used to graze their cattle.
Now it’s home to one of the ugliest solar complexes in the county.
The Amish will probably be the last people feeding us 30 years from now when the current generation of farmers retires.
What an awful ending to farmland. This hideous sight has become common in rural Upstate NY. We’re losing our history, culture, and viewsheds alongside the land that feeds us.

Funny, she failed to mention this would cover NON-citizens residing in New York State.
NY already operates one of the most generous and costly Medicaid programs in the country (2nd only to Cali)— with broad access at a premium price tag that exceeds national norms.
Where’s her bill to combat Medicaid fraud in NY State to ensure it actually goes to those citizens who need it??
It’s a huge chunk of the state budget, so expect that to blow up even more.
