Working on validating demand for a VR orbital sim built on NASA's JEOD/F´ stack. Same dynamics frameworks used for actual mission planning, running standalone on Meta Quest. 🚀 Presented at @FSWWorkshop 2024 @NASAJPL @SwRI - now the question is whether there's a market beyond aerospace engineers who miss Orbitersim.

@QuestWithMatt Why not, success in hybrid? For this game and the last one? Studios saying "we love VR, but there not enough sales". Hybrid is more work, but you get to have your cake and make VR too.

ICYMI this from my AMA yesterday. We’ve decided to retain existing Horizon Worlds in VR for the foreseeable future. I know this is a bit of whiplash just a few days after we announced something different, but Horizon has some real fans in the VR community and they encouraged us to reconsider our decision.

Such a shame they’ll never get a chance to make another game, really loved Assassin’s Creed Nexus and was hoping we’d see a sequel. A huge shame this industry is becoming so hostile to iterating on ideas that may have not completely worked first try

Just finish Cursed Echoes from @i84games. a game like Exit8 but horrific where once the apartment has been visited we decide to take the "Clean" door if nothing is abnormal, or the "Cursed" door if there has been an element/detail that has occurred. The game costs less than $5, and may not last very long depending on our observation skills.. #Quest3 #VR

It's pretty incredible to think that UG has 317k reviews on the MetaHorizon store. So yes, a lot of video games "manipulate" reviews by offering in-game items in exchange for feedback, but the rate at which reviews are given is lightning fast. Maybe there are some bots in there too ? #VR #Quest3
