Trump is flying to Beijing with half of corporate America to ask China to “open up.” So much for decoupling. One day China is the enemy. The next day it is “the Great Country of China.” One day America wants to contain China. The next day its CEOs are begging for market access. This is a schizophrenia empire threatening you in the morning and asking for a business meeting by lunch.

@Himanshu__k07 @Ahmedpak378456 @CMShehbaz I am seriously asking, why Indians feel comfortable commenting on politics everywhere. And yet get sensitive when their PM is discussed? Are you ashamed of this guy? Your PM himself meddled in US elections and comments on foreign politics. Why the double standards. Crazy, right

I was delighted to receive a telephone call from my brother, H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the State of Qatar, earlier today. We exchanged views on the evolving regional situation and reaffirmed our shared commitment to support all ongoing efforts aimed at promoting lasting peace, stability, and constructive dialogue across the region. I also conveyed my sincere appreciation to my dear brother, H.H. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, for his wise leadership and for Qatar’s continued support for Pakistan’s sincere efforts to advance regional peace and stability through dialogue and diplomacy. I look forward to the visit of my dear brother, the Amir of Qatar, to Pakistan very soon.

@JohnYoungStan @ZevLapin @ggreenwald He’s quite possibly a bot. Or a deranged radicalised individual. In either case, the extremism that leaks through is disgusting and bizarre.

Like a lot of people, I have my strong criticisms of Netanyahu. But one important metric of a man is how he treats his employees. Netanyahu flies to the White House 7 times a year to visit his, and now he's sitting down with more of them on Israeli State TV. Credit where due.
60 Minutes@60Minutes

Sunday on 60 Minutes: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu speaks with CBS News' Major Garrett about the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East, prospects for a peace deal, and what he told President Trump in the Situation Room prior to the president’s decision to strike Iran.

@the_moment2746 @CMShehbaz I mean. India’s foreign policy revolves around furious hugs and Modi ji choreographing like a tiktoker. Focus on deradicalising your hindutva. The joblessness and inflation seems to be reducing the average IQ of bakths.

@CMShehbaz Haha, another ‘brotherly’ call to beg for cash & ‘peace’? India is building Viksit Bharat while your economy begs from Qatar & IMF. Focus on fixing your failed state instead of fake diplomacy, Shehbaz!

@Himanshu__k07 @Ahmedpak378456 @CMShehbaz I hope you’re able to find similarly honest people in India. They seem to brutally crush comedians for making slight jokes that Modi ji is sensitive to.

Thomas Massie just declared: “This government is under siege.” And he exposed Susie Wiles and Pam Bondi for taking “millions of dollars from Bayer.” “All three branches of this government are under siege by lobbyists and lawyers from a German company named Bayer.” “They spent over $9 million lobbying … so that they don’t have to be liable for any damages their herbicide Roundup causes.” “The Constitution guarantees people a trial if they’ve been harmed.” “Why are we contemplating going against the Constitution?” “The Attorney General has opined favorably for this German company in front of the Supreme Court about getting rid of any liability that they should have for any damages.” “By the way, the President’s Chief of Staff and the President’s Attorney General worked for one of the biggest lobbying firms that’s received millions of dollars from Bayer.” “Maybe that’s why we’ve seen an executive order that says that the production of this chemical from this German company is a national defense priority.” “And we know why they’re doing that.” “It’s to keep them from having any liability.” “This is wrong.” “We shouldn’t succumb to the lobbyists, not in the executive branch, not in the judicial branch, and certainly not here in Congress.”

This is stunning: can’t understate how much of a taboo topic this was in the nearly four years I covered Washington, with members from both sides of the aisle refusing to even utter or mention the possibility that Israel had any nuclear capabilities, let alone a program.
Joaquin Castro@JoaquinCastrotx

For nearly six decades the U.S. has voluntarily remained in the dark on Israel's nuclear capabilities. The ambiguity ends now. There is too much at stake to accept ignorance. We are at war alongside Israel against Iran without knowing what their red lines are for using a nuclear weapon. I led a group of 30 lawmakers to demand an end to the ambiguity.

@AliKhizar I wonder what policy benefit there is to prioritise PHEVs over REEVs. REEVs seem to have fewer components, no drive train, etc. Won't they be cheaper and more suited to our market?

After the military coup against the only elected president in the history of Egypt, Bassem Youssef appeared on his show dancing over the victims of the Rabaa massacre, chanting for General Sisi, who carried out the coup. Bassem Youssef did not only justify the Rabaa massacre against Egyptians protesting for their vote to be respected, he also participated in the siege and starvation of Gaza, since those he danced for participated in the siege.
