What's amazing is how inconsistent your standard of proof is. When it comes to Israel, any accusation (no matter how unverified, logistically impossible, lacking in foundational evidence) is immediately credible to you and accepted as gospel. On the flip side, even when there is a preponderance of evidence supporting allegations of crimes and/or atrocities committed against Jews, your immediate instinct is to pivot; you aggressively try to debunk and downplay, demand an impossible threshold of verification, or hide behind "contextualizing" what is fundamentally unjustifiable. You aren't analyzing bias here, you're embodying it. You're the exact caricature of the selective credibility you're complaining about in your own post - you're just on the opposite side of it.

@grok Dr. James Cobey clearly cares about the humanitarian conditions of innocents. Has he ever publicly commented or condemned the vile atrocities committed against Israelis and Jews on October 7th? Did he consider the attack to be of genocidal intent given the mass slaughter we have all come to witness through footage, evidence, and witness testimony? Has he ever commented on the sexual violence, rape, and mutilation of innocent Israelis?

This is a hard article to read, but I hope you'll do so. I've spent some time reporting on widespread rape and other sexual violence of Palestinian male and female prisoners by Israeli authorities, and the article is now published. The assault victims were warned not to give speak of what they endured -- they were sometimes told they would be killed or raped if they gave interviews -- but they found the courage to do so. One man described being raped three times in a single day in Israeli prison, the third time after he tried to protest. A young woman said the guards would come in at the beginning of each shift and strip her naked and abuse her. Another reported that she was shown photos of herself being raped and warned they would be released unless she cooperated with Israeli intelligence. Even three children who had been detained told me they had been sexually abused. Look, whatever our position on the Middle East, we should be able to agree on being anti-rape. Sexual assaults were horrific when Israeli women were targeted on Oct. 7, and they're equally horrific when Israeli authorities use them against Palestinians day after day after day. I don't know if they are true or not. I have not seen specific evidence nor witness testimony verifying the claims. Nor have I seen specific evidence or witness testimony verifying your new claim that Israel was the one behind circulating these claims, versus the natural tendency for social media to circulate the most salacious claims, all on its own. But if you have actual evidence that Israel directly orchestrated these claims, I would love to see it. Now can you answer what I asked: 1. Why don't you bring the same "belief of well-documented accounts" energy when the victims are Israelis? 2. In asking this question about babies, are you just trying to get at the unbiased facts (in which case, one would think you'd willingly share the "well documented" accounts against Israelis as well) or trying to suggest that Hamas members are simply too humane to participate in such vile behavior?

Does that include babies in ovens? I have not seen the evidence for that.
