@furiousgerbil I started a Mastodon account on Tuesday. Still finding my feet but it's simpler than I was led to believe. I'm keeping Twitter for all sorts of reasons until I see how things work out. Feels more like olden days Twitter there, content wise and definitely not confrontational.

All the people still supporting Brexit on the basis that power will return to their hands, as if if ever has been, couldn't be more deluded. 'Taking back control' is a sleight of hand, performed by an aristocratic elite who won't let you within ballistic range of it.
