How funny would it be if there’s another NFT run because people want cool PFPs for their agents. Only 10,000 agents can have punks…

@rleshner it's more than 60 days past their split, so they shouldn't be able to keep using their pre-split float to violate baby-shelf.

I’ve just seen LQR House’s prospectus supplement that was publicly filed today. I disagree with what LQR House is doing (selling shares) with respect to the ATM offering, which I don't think is productive, and I’m consulting with lawyers.

A. An interesting law would be to enshrine the right to run a node for every citizen. B. Economically, would be good to see hardware costs for machines compress to stay in equilibrium with data size increases. Perhaps A is counterproductive for B, so B is probably where we should focus more.

Bitcoiners running nodes should not prune. Keeping the chain in tact from Genesis and helping other Bitcoiners sync is essential. We actually have Bitcoiners today saying "the size of the chain doesn't matter. Just run a pruned node." I reject this. If everyone runs a pruned node, we end up in a really bad place. Don't promote users neutering their nodes so others can store unlimited garbage under the rug.

Here’s another reframe. AI doesn’t take your job. AI takes the job of the previous AI. For example, Midjourney took the job of Stable Diffusion. And Claude Code is competing for the job of OpenAI Codex. Because once you know how to prompt an AI model in a given domain, once it’s really part of your workflow, it’s easy to swap in a new one. That means you’re always “employing” an AI image model, an AI code model, an AI video model, and so on. You essentially have budget for AI contractors in each vertical. But you’re constantly upgrading to the best new model. Thus: AI takes the job of the previous AI.

i do think the future of work is like starcraft or age of empires. you have 200 microagents you’re directing to fix problems, gather information, reach out to people, design new systems, etc.

😕😕😕 @CaitlinLong_ who faught the fed for years to be compliant points out that what the Fed actually removed today was absolutely meaningless due to SR23 still in place.. so today was just a PR Stunt. What was dropped: ❌️22-6 / CA 22-6: "Engagement in Crypto-Asset-Related Activities by Federal Reserve-Supervised Banking Organizations" 🔸️This guidance required prior notification to the Fed before engaging in crypto activities and emphasized risk management expectations. ❌️SR 23-8 / CA 23-5: "Creation or Use of Dollar Tokens by Federal Reserve-Supervised Banking Organizations" 🔸️This warned against issuing dollar-pegged tokens (like stablecoins) unless meeting strict supervisory standards. But left in: ✅️ SR 23-1 (Policy Statement on Section 9(13) – Jan 27, 2023): 🔸️Legally grounded in the Federal Reserve Act. 🔸️Declares a presumption that crypto activities are unsafe. 🔸️Requires supervisory non-objection before any state member bank can touch crypto. This is the Fed’s core legal position, not just a recommendation. It’s binding unless overturned by legislation, another formal policy vote, or court action So in short... what the Fed did today.. was meaningless.. #Fed #Crypto #Stablecoins #SR231
