Just a reminder that this movie needs to gross somewhere around $500 million just to break even, when accounting for theaters’ cut of ticket sales, advertising, etc.

i strongly recommend everyone to rewatch s3- i did not like it originally ill be honest but on my rewatch i was so captivated. s3 was the culmination of everything mandalorian from taking back their home world to reuniting all of the clans that have historically fought so much

@TyrantVicky @lukescarif The Star Wars online fandom can suck but also be awesome at times. The in person fandom is the best there is. Being at a celebration or other con with Star Wars fans is the absolute best.

the Star Wars fandom sucks and Star Wars discourse sucks but just like what you like and let others like what they like. Star Wars is never going to be just one thing and you don't have to like all of it. Not everything will appeal to you or be targeted at you.

Contrary to reports, the Mandalorian and Grogu has not broken even. The advertising/marketing budget--which is not being included in the tally of ticket sales vs cost--is believed to be larger than the actual shooting budget (and both are just estimates).

@ct_girlie Maybe forces of destiny but I haven’t seen any of those since they came out. Just remember the Ezra and Ahsoka one. There was a Rey and bb8 too if I remember right. I’m definitely not the target audience of those lol

@Bizcuthammer You might just not like Star Wars and that’s ok. By far most of Star Wars is animated. Most of animated Star Wars is good/great.

At this point, more bad Star Wars exists than good Star Wars. Maybe that's been true for a while now, but the scale tipping just seems more drastic to me now.

@PatienceRandle There has been an official ticket resale website before but they haven’t said if there will be one this celebration or not. Hope there is! Both for people who couldn’t get tickets and those who need to sell them when ultimately life happens and they can’t do anymore

Wasn’t able to snag tickets to SWCLA so I’m already trying to figure out a way to get in there 👀 hopefully they’ll release some more tickets closer to April. I cannot miss this!

The opening scene of THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU wasn't terrible, and then the rest of the movie happened. The ugliest-looking Star Wars movie by a country mile, 132 minutes of mindless action devoid of any emotional weight. I hope Jeremy Allen White's new house looks nice.

@MyChudLife Not sure how you could watch the series and expect anything different. The boys won a local battle but the system is always quick to scapegoat that person and say the system itself isn’t flawed. No way they were ever going to take down the company as a whole

homelander was a villain and needed to die but i can’t believe the series ends with the death of an exploited abused child rather than the collapse of the company and system that created him

@ahsokaswonder If you’re looking for a standalone novel. Lost stars is great place to start. A lot of great novels that connect to movies that act as supplemental material too. If you’re looking for a series of books loved high republic. Alphabet squadron is good. Aftermath books are decent.
