I am also aware that there are several areas without supply - like Forest Rd / Pembury etc. I have passed this onto SEW - who just told me everything was ok. Clearly it isn’t.

@deeeeeejjaaay @sewateruk Yep we lost water yesterday (again), pressure now low so expect it will go off again soon. It is a joke - and yeah the hassle/worry is not worth the compensation. I’d rather just have a competent, reliable water supplier.

@sewateruk I have lived in the UK for over 40 years. There is a high chance that it will get cold in winter and pipes might burst. But the only time I’ve had water cut off is when @sewater is the supplier. It is entirely predictable what might happen but it can’t cope. Useless

@sewateruk Hi Danni, that is the bare minimum. There is no reason why SEW could not compensate consumers and businesses to reflect the actual impact. The fact SEW intends to do the minimum is not a surprise and I am sure it would try and get away with less than that if it could.

@sewateruk Anyway looking forward to the no doubt very generous compensation for lack of any water and inconvenience , queuing up for water, not being able to flush toilets, or have a shower, kids not at school etc

@R300RRR Hi, We understand our customers have been without water, we have therefore taken the decision to pump water from our treatment works into the network, this can be used for flushing toilets or showering, but cannot be used for drinking without boiling first. Thanks, Rosie
