I'm fine with Sirianni being on the hot seat in 2026. With Philly's standards, that's perfectly fine. But I'm not rooting for him to fail at the expense of my own team. That's fucking weird.

Expected. From what normal hockey people see and understand from the game (not the insane fanboys), it’s unfortunately the right move. Michkov is struggling immensely under tight checking, lack of space available and defensive zone coverage/turnovers.

@BillColarulo Up 3-1 in a series against 4 hall of famers. Classic Philly media time to panic n fuck up the future. Instead of dealing with the growing pains. Since you just tune in, Michkov heating up was one of the reasons the flyers are in the playoffs.

If Matvei Michkov is in fact a healthy scratch for Game 5, no one should question Tocchet. Michkov has looked outmatched 5 on 5 and hasn’t been a factor on the power play either. I think Bump can provide some energy Monday night.

@dsilver88 So the player who is a core piece n was a monster down the stretch helping us make the playoffs is who we need to bench. He hasn't been great but he hasn't been terrible. Btw the flyers are up 3-1 in a series but it's time to panic lol

I think it’s important to take emotion and drama out of situation We have a player (Michkov) who hasn’t performed that well in this series in any of the three zones, and another guy (Bump) who deserves a look It’s not the end of the world or the end of Michkov with the Flyers

@charlieo_conn You want the young core players to get as much playoff experience as possible. Benching him doesn't make sense, you have to live with growing pains

I probably wouldn't scratch Michkov, because I do think he has the upside to explode offensively at any time. But the idea that it's unwarranted and unfair is ridiculous. He's not playing well. He's been the least effective of all of the top-9 forwards. It's obvious.

@charlieo_conn Let's not start the narrative. Michovs play has warranted this. I love him; I bought my daughters his jersey. He's the future of the franchise, but he hasn't performed well. This is justified, and anyone who thinks otherwise can argue with me in my DMs.
