@rapids96podcast I have almost zero sympathy for the Rapids attendance / relevance struggles these days. Ownership has the land, cash, opportunity & potential support to put the team in a downtown location, yet the idea does not even appear to have been considered.

@RBamber @HippchenK @bscholl @denversmayor When Americans take the airport trips seriously they do a subway (Chicago) or light rail (Seattle) line right to the terminal, at the regular in-town price. Germans do it okay too (among those I know, Frankfurt and Hamburg). Heathrow is a bad example because it is so expensive.

Hey @denversmayor, congestion to DEN airport keeps getting worse. But we can fix it. Let’s add a third lane to Pena Blvd and make it a smart dynamically priced toll lane. Here’s how: - increase speed limit to 75 - lane is free unless average speed of traffic <75 - then ramp tolls automatically to maintain express lane speed of 75 The lane will more than pay for itself. I’m in to help you do this and make it a model for the nation if you’re up for it.
