As today is officially the last day of the Class 455s in passenger service, here are some photos that I’ve captured of the 455s in the last few months. I sadly didn’t get the chance to spot the remaining 2 today on its last day, but glad I’ve been able to spot the 455s when I did

One final bash. Turned out to be a very momentous occasion spending the evening on board the last Class 455 pair. It was such a fun vibe and a pleasure having the penultimate service of the night guarded by Wimbledon's finest @AR02_K! Gonna miss these beasts so much 😭

It's a giant emotional honour tonight to be working my final ever Class 455 pending their withdrawal within the coming days / week. Bring it on.

Turns out it was NOT my last ride on a 455, because 455712 and 732 ran 2F91, 17:02 London Waterloo to Guildford! Me and @speedbird821417 had a lot of fun riding these classic units ahead of their retirements.

Not many left now. I believe this may be the penultimate pair of 455s to leave for scrap. 37884 drags 5717 and 5727 towards Tring, 5W58 10:01 Wimbledon to Derby. 13-Mar-26
