Today I toured Ministry parastatals exhibiting at the ongoing #ZITF2026 in Bulawayo. I was impressed by the efforts being made by ZBC, Zimpapers, BAZ, ZIFTESSA and Transmedia to modernise their operations in line with the national vision. #Vision2030

I outlined Zimbabwe’s commitment to delivering one million housing units by 2030 under NDS2, driven by strong collaboration between Government, the private sector, and key stakeholders. Shelter Afrique reaffirmed its commitment to support Zimbabwe through technical and financial assistance, building on its existing role in financing housing projects. The engagement underscored housing as a key driver of inclusive growth, job creation, and industrial development

@RBangidza @CadreShangrila @TendaiChirau @KMutisi @matigary Section 340 does not allow the President to unilaterally remove someone from a protected independent commission post. Independent commissions (Chapter 12) have specific appointment and tenure rules designed to protect their independence.
