According to estimates in the army, it is likely that a missile of this type - Almas 3 - was used by Hezbollah on Friday, in the incident in which Givati Brigade fighters were wounded during operational activity in southern Lebanon.
The mentioned missile is the most advanced model of the Iranian anti-armor missiles "Almas", a precise weapon system designed to hit armored vehicles.
The range of Almas 3 is estimated at about 16 kilometers and can be launched towards the estimated location of the target even when it is not visible, and according to security sources, the launch range may enable Hezbollah to threaten settlements, sites, bases or military vehicles from a relatively large distance from the border line.
