These are speed-trap measures; however, at other points on the track, Ham's deficit reached 10kph. This was on Lap 48 and isn't a speed-trap measurement.

From lap 45 Lewis is in the same position as Charles defending from Norris while lec defends from Russel. Different preference in where to deploy but basically any surplus on a straight from Lewis is offset by Charles being quicker on a different straight

When he complained about Charles having more battery his engineer told him it’s because Charles had overtake. I’m more of a data person. I agree in that moment he was down on power, I’m more sceptical about the cause

Everyone was saying how great the battle was between the Ferraris.... I just looked at it and thought how stupid they were being. George was waiting there with his full energy to overtake them both when they used all theirs up squabbling and then disappeared up the road.
