@stephenituruka Seems as though it’s important to the majority of our politicians and others. I think it probably has less to do with the ballroom than what will be built with/under it.

@_Stocko_ I used a voltage divider like that once so I could send the battery voltage through telemetry on a Mars style rover controlled remotely.

i'm going to try adding a battery voltage meter to my StandBot balancing robot experiment. this is so it can shut down if the battery voltage drops too far. the 100K and 47K will create a voltage divider that maps 8.4v to ~2.7v

@_Stocko_ I have dozens of LiPos from 1s to 6s. I don’t fast charge or charge when they are hot. I have never had any problems. I do keep my drone and plane batteries in metal ammo cans when storing and I store them at ~30%. I charge them on my desk but while I am home.

this is exactly what bothers me. by putting the burden on the user to charge their batteries in a bag or whatever, it incentivizes manufacturers to make shitty batteries
Brandon Kirkpatrick@bsk1087

@_Stocko_ @chrisbolas Did you ever see that youtube video about how cheap battery manufacturers with less refined processes create unpredictable batteries?

@_Stocko_ Those LiPos are the best bang for your buck power wise. They are insanely cool with how much power they hold and how quickly they can give it up. They also suck in that they are easy to kill. A low voltage cutoff circuit is required in basically anything you put them in.

Você nunca ouviu essa história: em 1996, um foguete chinês Long March 3B saiu da rota e obliterou uma vila. A China registrou 6 mortos, mas imagens vazadas sugerem uma destruição muito diferente.

HEY GRIFTING RETARD KINDLES HAVE APPLICATION PROCESSORS RUNNING ANDROID BECAUSE YOU CAN’T PARSE EPUBS ON A MICROCONTROLLER THIS “””DESIGN””” HAS NONE OF THE FUNCTIONALITY OF A KINDLE
Sajeel Purewal 🇨🇦 🇵🇰@Sajeel_Purewal

Amazon has sold over 100 million Kindles but I don't think most people realize how simple they are to build. I was able to source parts and design one with a single prompt using blueprint.am. It's powered off an ESP32.

@Dushyanth_DS_ @oprydai “Old” Arduino are still good for basic controllers. Lots of GPIO can be nice and ESP32 can be overkill for a lot of things. EEs used to joke that people used an Arduino to do something a 555 could do. Now we go straight to ESP32 for stuff an Arduino nano could do more easily.

I hate old Arduino boards. I would prefer STM32 for Basic Embedded System or ESP32 for Basic IoT. I would also prefer Arduino Q but I never used it so I can't say how useful it is in specific domain.

@brucefenton Truth! The banks and other financial institutions are arguably the biggest fraudsters of all making trillions through fraud but that’s not who they want us paying attention to and angry at.

There are far larger frauds than the Somali daycare frauds in a few states. There is fraud in every state, at every level and it goes up a food chain to larger and larger frauds that make what ever seen seem trivial. The entire system is broken because of a weak monetary system.

@HealthRanger If you mean because the “intelligence” and I use that term liberally here doesn’t come from the LLM but the human work the LLM was trained on, your analogy kind of works. There is nothing mysterious about the code behind LLMs. They are just computer programs with no intelligence.

If you dismantle a radio, you will not find the broadcast. If you dismantle a piano, you will not find a musical masterpiece. If you dissent a human brain, you will not find genius. And if you tear apart the layers of an LLM, you will never understand the source of its intelligence.

@Caughttincctv When we're kids, we just end up doing the dumbest things. Like me dropping a very heavy phone book on my grandmother's marble coffee table and splitting it in half back in the 90s. Nuts.
