In 2024, applications for IMT outstripped the number of posts available by 73%. ‘We risk abandoning a generation of UK medical graduates to an uncertain future. Too many patients are being treated in corridors and chairs. It's unsafe, undignified & unacceptable. That is why we & @theRCN have been calling for provider-level data on care delivered in temporary environments. Delighted that @nhsengland has now announced that NHS trusts will report against a new corridor care metric from this month👇
