No apologies should be accepted. She should be given proper punishment as per BNS sections. Such women are danger for the society. Don’t know how many people she will spoil.

@manas_muduli So many two wheelers don’t have rear view mirrors for aesthetic reasons. It should be a punishable offence. I don’t know if that was the case here but have encountered so many such moves where riders do not have any rear view mirrors.

Look at this dashcam footage. Many bikers make this critical mistake: switching lanes without checking the adjacent lane. One wrong move is all it takes. There’s no second chance.

This is so incorrect ! Many of them just had shade in their margin space and instead of fining them for usage of extra FSI, PMC choose to demolish. Such actions are nothing but vengeance. Any such action is indirect wastage of national resources

@ThePuneMirror It’s useless to bring rules that you can’t impose. I already see a problem with this move with some trying to follow and majority breaking it. Law unless imposed will not deter people from breaking it and Pune is a case study in traffic rule violations

Authorities in Pune have announced major safety measures at Navale Bridge after a tragic accident claimed 8 lives on Thursday evening. During a review meeting, Union Minister Murlidhar Mohol directed officials to immediately enforce stricter controls, including reducing the speed limit for heavy vehicles to 30 kmph. The plan includes engineering fixes, traffic monitoring, load checks and clearing encroachments to prevent recurring accidents. The long-pending elevated corridor and Ring Road proposals are also being prioritised to ensure permanent relief for commuters. These instructions have been given: - Speed limit reduced from 60 kmph to 30 kmph. - Speed guns increased from 3 to 6. - Strict load checks for heavy vehicles. - Mandatory brake and vehicle fitness inspections. - 32 km stretch to be converted into cement-concrete road. - No halting of vehicles on the stretch. - Encroachments to be cleared immediately. - Bus stop gaps in the area to be fixed. - Service roads to be upgraded for smoother flow. - Engineering redesign ordered for steep gradient issues. #Punetimesmirror #PuneNews #NavaleBridge #RoadSafety #PuneTraffic #HeavyVehicles #SafetyMeasures #BreakingNews #PuneUpdates #PublicSafety #InfrastructureReform (Punetimesmirror, Navale Bridge accident, Pune speed limit, heavy vehicle safety, Murlidhar Mohol, Pune traffic measures, road safety overhaul, NHAI Pune, 30 kmph limit, Pune fatal crash, engineering redesign)

@NavalGeekSingh We don’t need to travel to know. We should start demanding the very basic that we deserve. A flip side is also how the citizens of other countries behave and respect and follow the law. The problem is much bigger than just any govt or govt body doing their job well

More people need to travel and see how well other countries are run. Back home we’re fed nationalism by folks who barely do their jobs. People need to start asking tougher questions. START VOTING ON REAL ISSUES

@nachiket1982 Not just that. It screams entitlement and once can immediately correlate it to corruption in dealings with public money. It is much more than a simple act. It is infact a sure sign of deep rooted disregard for law and confidence in knowing they cannot be held accountable

@nachiket1982 @PuneCityTraffic @CPPuneCity @MahaPolice @CMOMaharashtra First crackdown on vendors making illegal n plates. Make it a punishable offence. Only registered vendors should be able to make and print no plates. Make it mandatory for dealerships to fix tamper proof number plates. Make illegal number plate as grounds for seizure of vehicle.

Dear @PuneCityTraffic @CPPuneCity @MahaPolice @CMOMaharashtra , Vehicles with no standard plates are roaming fearlessly across the state. What if one or more of these vehicles are used for substance trafficking/ human trafficking or terror activities? How will these be traced if the plates are unreadable?
siddharth@sid12jan

@nachiket1982 @PuneCityTraffic I saw this.... It is a very common view in Pune to see these types of number plates... Not able to make out which state registration it belongs to...

Excellent video by @virsanghvi on the corrupt and boorish behaviour of @Delhicustoms. Put some body cams on them and make it a punishable offence to not wear name badges. You’ll see their manner improve instantly.

If you feel Road Rage is a UP and Gurgaon thing, Pune will surprise you. Suraj Patil is nonchalantly breaking glass of another vehicle and taunting the driver to file a case. He is flaunting his connections and believes he is untouchable. Where is Maharashtra heading?

@anitavladivoski We must find out if someone is mixing something in the canteen food and drinks at the courts. Narcotics or psychotropic substances can be the only logical explanation for many of the comments and statements come from Judiciary of late.

Remove Caste Politics. Remove Reservations. Give Death Sentence for proven Bribe & Corruption. Make Public Approval Mandatory for every Freebie & Yojanas. And impose 30 years rigorous imprisonment, both for proven Discrimination and for false claims of it. Do this, and watch how fast India transforms from chaos to greatness.

@arya_amsha Do we really need administrative services run by the state? I suggest corporatisation of these services with a governing body by the state and centre. First areas to be Land and Property Registration and RTO.

UPSC needs to be scrapped. The exam is single handedly responsible for creating low IQ unmotivated bureaucrats. Just replace it with an IQ test + extensive interview round that asks candidates relevant Qs on development, leadership and governance.
