@andykirkland71 @planetbyde Yup - it was a kist hoard. My map of the kists shows one to the south of Lauder and the clue for it is "a soldier once rested here and left his feet". No wonder we didn't find many of them if we kept seeing the sculptures without realising what they were. Doh!

@andykirkland71 @planetbyde Yeah, we collected the kists as we walked the trail. Except we weren't very good at finding them! Perhaps we were so bad that we saw these boots and didn't realise they were where a kist was stashed. Where were the boots exactly?

Three riders have separately said to me this week that they're "enjoying the process" of being coached. Frankly, that pleases me as much as riders achieving their goals. I usually dislike trite sayings but it is true that the journey is as important as the destination.

Exciting times ahead as I've been asked to be a @britishcycling girls ambassador 🙌 I've always loved teaching & coaching, it's something I've balanced alongside my sport & work from a young age and there's nothing more rewarding than giving back to the sport and next generation.

@ChrisSidwells Hoy winning the Keirin in London in 2012 - it really looked like he'd gone too soon and Levy was going to come back at him - but Hoy still had another gear!

@willfoth I cycled from Nottingham to Portsmouth to watch the Tour in 1994. Boardman was a hero then... and still is. So much respect for his current work.
