Today, I visited Ntarama Pig Farm on a grand scale @pigs_farm managed by Peace Niyoyita, a resilient and inspiring woman who is transforming pig farming in Rwanda. She began her journey in 2017 with just 10 pigs. Today, her farm has grown to over 500 pigs, and her team has expanded from 3 to 25 permanent workers. The farm has become one of Rwanda’s premier agricultural enterprises, offering: - High-quality breeding stock to farmers - Pig semen production, working closely with the Rwanda Agriculture Board (RAB) and Zipline to distribute across the country - Premium pork products through Pork House Ntarama, producing up to 5 metric tons daily Peace encourages Rwandans to invest in pig farming, describing it as a fast-growing and highly profitable venture. She also highlights that with the Pork House Ntarama facility, farmers now have a reliable market for their produce. #InvestInRwanda

Les échanges ont porté sur l’expansion internationale des activités d’Air Congo, notamment le lancement d’une liaison Kinshasa-Bruxelles, prévu dès juillet 2026. Le renforcement de la flotte a également été abordé, avec l’acquisition de deux appareils de type ATR 72-600, d’une capacité de 70 sièges chacun, destinés aux vols intérieurs. Le premier appareil est attendu le 30 avril prochain.

Road from Tanzania to South Africa. Most South Africans use this road to immigrate to other African countries! Vice versa Highway (Great North Road) that connects Tanzania to South Africa. The 2,400km road runs from Dar es salaam to Cape Town. Constructed in 1973 through a joint multi-national effort and financed by Sweden, World Bank, IDA, and the UK. The road is still performing like it was commissioned yesterday.
