BREAKING: The IRGC attack reported today by Kuwait on Bubiyan Island was likely a kill/capture mission directed at US forces. The Island sits about 30 km southwest of the Iranian border. This is not the first time Iran has directed attacks at US forces reportedly based on the Island. On 04/04, the USA conducted numerous airstrikes just north of this location against Iranian PMF terrorists attempting to cross from Iraq into Iran. These strikes occurred while the downed US pilot was missing in Iran. The PMF forces were moving in the direction of the downed pilot. Two days after the strikes on 04/06, Iran targeted the US forces reportedly based on the Island. Today, the IRGC attempted to infiltrate the base with a 4-man team that was captured.
