@ClownWorld Sounds like the cost of doing business in one of the most desirable places in the country. You could start up cheaper in Oklahoma, but we all know the opportunity in CA outweighs most of the country.

Starting a business in California is insane. Looked at a 2,500 sqft spot in the Valley yesterday and the guy wanted $14,000 a month in rent. That’s basically $500 a day before you even unlock the door. Then add employees, insurance, utilities, taxes, inventory, and all the other bills that come with running a business, and you’d probably need to do $4k+ a day in sales just to make it make sense. People wonder why so many small businesses struggle or never even get started.

The agreement would not abolish the electoral college. It would simply change how some states allocate their share. Instead of it being based on how their state votes, it would instead go based on the national popular vote. They don’t need all 50 states, just 270 electoral votes worth.
