On April 8, 2026, the California Supreme Court ordered Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco (the man in the image, identifiable by his name tag and sheriff's badge) to pause his investigation into alleged fraud in the November 2025 special election (related to Proposition 50 on redistricting) and to preserve all seized items, including the ballots.
