I am still a believer in reform when it comes to social issues, but I would never again vote for a candidate whose foreign policy strategy is designed around the belief that an honest deal can be won through diplomacy only and not a position of geopolitical and military strength.

This war has totally changed my position in Iranian politics. How foolish was I to place my hope in reformist ideas of negotiations with the west. An emotional desire for peace was stronger than a rational acknowledgement of the fact that the US never wanted peace.
