For those wrongly convicted and sent to jail there has been a full and final offer of £600,000. Take it or leave it. Their story is truly unimaginable and yet it has happened...and for hundreds of others it's still going on...

This Post office scandal gets worse. Sally rang into the show @lbc to tell me of her nightmare over many years. Horizon update. "Discrepancies". Having to pay back the Post Office money she didn't owe. Divorce. Illness. Armed robbery. More accusations. No assistance in any way. Sally was in tears on air. It's heartbreaking 💔 Sally hasn't contacted anyone. I hope she does. So many of those who just paid the money and left aren't even being contacted by the Post Office 😡😡

ITV’s Mr Bates v The Post Office is simply superb. As is ITV’s accompanying documentary. Harrowing and heartbreaking when you learn the appalling, unjust ordeals so many sub-postmasters — the very epitome of the decent backbone of Britain — had to go through. Watch it and you will be simultaneously angry and tearful. But even more astounding is the callous malevolence of the Post Office — and even more shaming is the fact that none of its appalling executives has ever been held to proper account.

I was reliving my past watching this. I had to stop many times just to stop myself from breaking down. I am so glad our stories are finally being heard. I hope my family and friends will finally believe me & I can walk with my head held high again. #MrBatesVsThePostOffice

In 2001 this was my investment for the future . In 2007 after paying over £35,000 to @PostOffice dodgy system. I had suspension , nervous breakdown, lost business , bankruptcy and no option but to sell home. 2 subsequent spm had the same . Did they not notice. #MrBates
