Americans are not known for our work/life balance & companies know it. Letting it expire is a way to get out of paying for it.

@RLady9875 I've never worked anywhere in my life that does this and never known anyone who has gotten this benefit. Companies I work for ENCOURAGE people to use their PTO knowing it disappears over a threshold. They're not hiding the ball and trying to cheat you they want you to use it
