@Hayden_Collins8 I shared every slide with my son who will be entering his freshman year this fall. I couldn’t agree more with each of your points. 👊🏽💪🏽

Well I never imagined sharing my experience would have such an impact on this platform. It truly is a God thing. I’ll be continuing to share some things I’ve learned and my experience on here moving forward. If anyone has any questions about college baseball please reach out!

@WriterJesse @Seth_3773 The commentator on tv says “if you’re going to take a route that almost takes you to the edge of the outfield”. This screenshot shows that contact was made nowhere near the edge of the outfield. It’s actually made where any runner’s path leads them when going 1st to 3rd.

I don’t think this is a terrible running route. I think this is also a high in play by the #astros runner. The #whitesox shortstop has to be a bit more aware of the runner to me. What do you think?

@WadeTownsendMan Agreed but they gave them all the strikes. lol. No painting the corners like this anymore especially with ABS. Many of these would be challenged and overturned. Hand is quicker than the eye and that’s what catchers have been doing lately. Trying to fool the ump.

Maddux is a magician but most of those pitchers are 3-4 inches off the plate The proper way to frame is the way Eddie Perez and most other good catchers of that time did it The goal is to get 2 inches and make it look like you never moved your glove I genuinely have no idea what catchers are even doing and have been doing the last 5 years it is like everyone went retarded at the same time And as a former pitcher I know for sure that having a solid stationary target allows you better focus and creates a tunnel to throw through Madness watching current catching I cannot stand it

@SoxInTheDesert @rmc4az @Seth_3773 He was stepping on third when cutoff man took the cut but the cutoff man had enough time to look around, lob the ball home and runner was still out by 5+ steps. Silly that he got awarded home but I’m sure that’s how it’s written. Softball players do it all the time. I hate it.

@rmc4az @RMatSLU @Seth_3773 I know what could have been dude didnt even touch 3rd before it hit the cutoff man. There is a one base protection rule which means he is only protected to the base he would have reached safely. You advance at your own risk after that. He should have been out at home or sent back

Sitting by the register waiting for my Sushi order tonight. when a nurse comes in ( presumably getting an order for her coworkers ), and pulls out a roll of assorted bills out of a .... Specimen Cup !! She looks at me & says -- "It's okay, this one hasn't been used yet."

@SteveB430 @Upper_Beck So you’re also saying that if 60% of the ball is outside and 40% inside, it should still be a ball since the main part is outside? That’s not how it works. We don’t write the rules and whether we agree or not, the rule says otherwise.

@Upper_Beck That's a ball. I don't care that a sliver of the ball touched the zone. The main part of the ball is outside.

I’ve yet to see this happen: Milwaukee challenged a called ball. The ABS replay indicated strike, but the home plate umpire announced Milwaukee had lost the challenge and the pitch would remain a ball. Bizarre and potentially consequential in a divisional rivalry.

Biggest game-changer for my young pitchers lately?
Not the throwing program. Not mechanics.
It’s their mindset on the mound. The kids who figure this out separate themselves fast. 🧵 👇

@KevinLive5 As frustrating as it is, some high schools get these 2 sizes fits all stretch hats that don’t make sense for some heads. They only have small/medium or medium/large. Unlike snap hats or true MLB fitted, these only 2 size hats are not ideal. I blame who ever chooses the hats.

Proposing a new rule for high school baseball… If the pitchers hat falls off during a pitch once, that’s fine If it happens twice, that’s a warning After that, automatic walk to the batter every time it comes off More than 10 times…automatic forfeit

This was called TAUNTING and would negate a 91 yard td from Javion Kinnard Genuinely one of the worst calls I’ve ever seen

@isaacpadron9 @BaseballQuotes1 Possibly but I need to see a few more pitches to see if this is what he does to know where to stand. If not and if this line was unique, then I’m with you. It’s the equivalent of drawing a line in the opposite batters box if the ump calls a strike that’s outside by 6 inches.

@BaseballQuotes1 It was an ejection like every other ejection. And a denial like every other denial. When a player thinks a called strike is a ball. He may be right. But to draw and point out where the ball passed through is showing up the umpire. Right or wrong. You'll be thrown out.

@CoachMarcusHill Could not agree more! We need more of this and not more ring chasers who will throw their pitcher out there in the 7th inning of a one run game with their kid over 100 pitches. Makes me sick.

This young man is 11 years old. He’s probably played close to 100 games this year. I’ve seen arm problems as early as an 8 year old being shut down this summer. Parents listen to the people that have been doing this a long time your 12 year old isn’t missing anything. You don’t have to play everyday your kids isn’t going to fall behind I promise. I also understand the dynamic of being a parent of a good player and being pulled in a bunch of directions. It’s completely fine to say “I appreciate the offer but he had two games yesterday” and if the people don’t understand then they don’t get it. Protect your players’ health everything you think is important will still be there I promise. I’m saying this as somebody that runs a baseball program but is also a father. Let them still be kids.

@_MLFootball Show the prior 15 yards of the route. This is not enough to say there was no penalty since we don’t know what happened before.

TRENDING: #Lions fans are angry that the refs threw a flag as soon as Travis Kelce put up his hands and asked for a penalty on Detroit. 😬😬😬 Kansas City had zero penalties called on them all night.

@ThePhilliesPod @JacobRudner Horrible take. The kid throws 100 mph and why the hate? And after 4 pitches (if you watch) the count is 2-2. He is top of his class and has been for a while now. Just wish him well and move on.

@JacobRudner Yes, those aren’t 100 mph so something’s off. Also, after 3 pitches the count was 2-1 so who cares?

Mind-numbing stuff from 2028 righty Striker Pence. The 16-year-old’s (!!!) first three pitches were 100, 100, 101.1, per Trackman. There’s a very large crowd gathered for this outing. Not exactly hard to imagine why.
