On the 5 Sep we reported a Waved Albatross being cared for by Luis and his team in Lima, Peru 🇵🇪. We are very pleased to say the bird was released mid-September, after recovering from a broken wing. Well done to Luis for helping this incredible bird! @Acap_birds #Albatross

With HMS Protector alongside Valparaiso, Chile 🇨🇱, several members of the RNBWS visited the nearby reserve at Cachagua to see the fantastic wildlife including Humboldt Penguins 🐧 #Penguin #WildlifeInChile

Last month, with HMS Protector in Lima, Peru 🇵🇪, Ship’s Company had the chance to visit the ‘Ringed Storm Petrel Project’ and learn about their fantastic work. They also saw a magnificent Winged Albatross, currently being nursed back to health! @Acap_birds @TheSeabirdGroup

Members of the RNBWS have just returned from a highly successful trip to Madeira, primarily to learn about the Zino’s Petrel. In the first of a series of posts, here’s some photos of the petrel at sea taken during a pelagic with @WindBirds. #Madeira
