@faith_nabushawo Some things should be left for Genz's imagine a doctor in a mirror taking a selfee. It's like a

@kapule25 @Uganda_Expozed @RebeccaKadagaUG @karothk256 @wekesa_amos @Nabimara_Paul @irumanyika @Beinomugisha_ @kasiryeadamkad @AKasingye @CMasiga @opigojimmy That might be true but purpose of the express way is to charge wealthy people. The poor use the train and SGR which u don't have in uganda .so it's little money if u look at status of people who use the kenya express way .here even Dmc's use express way

The Nairobi bypass felt like it was designed mainly for the wealthy we paid over 20,000 UGX just to use it. It made me wonder how ordinary citizens who rely on it frequently manage such costs.
In many of these countries, salaries may seem higher on paper, but the cost of living quickly eats into earnings. By the end of the month, you often realize there’s little or nothing left to save.
Back home in Uganda, it’s different. Even though incomes may be lower, people have strong survival instincts and financial discipline. Somehow, they find ways to cut costs and save more, making life feel more sustainable in the long run.

I’ve come to realize that my lifestyle closely mirrors @mbjorgum’s few words, deeply focused, visionary, and of course, a true coffee lover.
@mbjorgum is someone I genuinely look up to. Her approach, her mindset, and the way she operates are simply on another level.
I had the privilege of sharing a few minutes with her despite her incredibly busy schedule. @mbjorgum is the brilliant mind behind the kits, branding, media, promotions, and overall messaging of the Rwenzori Marathon and her impact is undeniable.

I had a great meeting today at the office with Mr. Edison (@MuhaweEdson), a former Makindye East PPF flag bearer.
It was inspiring to hear how he has developed a strong passion for the tourism industry, partly influenced by insights from Mr. @wekesa_amos and some of the conversations and posts I regularly share.
Mr. Edison is deeply connected to the European community that frequently visits Uganda for missions, and he believes there is significant potential to link these networks with our tourism sector.
What impressed me most is that he is taking a practical approach. He has started the process of registering his own company and has been organizing safaris where he pays experienced tour guides so he can better understand the dynamics of the industry from the ground up.
We had a meaningful discussion around tourism marketing and the opportunities within the sector.
I would definitely love to engage with him further over a coffee conversation and explore how we can continue exchanging ideas and building stronger pathways for tourism growth.

Time Management & Business
A must Read Story 👇
The Effects of Not Keeping Time 😔
We have done quite a lot of meaningful work with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs under different embassies and missions through @wekesa_amos in promoting Uganda’s tourism both globally and regionally.
But this morning, my colleague @Uganda_Expozed and I missed a golden opportunity to meet the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Vincent Bagiire Waiswa.
Yesterday, @wekesa_amos called and invited us for a meeting with the PS at the Ministry. He clearly told me that the meeting was scheduled for 7:00 AM.
Unfortunately, we arrived 10 minutes late… and the meeting had already ended while we were still signing in.
Then Amos appeared with Collins and said, “Mad man, the meeting is done!” I couldn’t believe it 😂.
He reminded us, “I told you 7:00 AM.” By 6:30 AM, Amos was already at the Ministry, and the PS, Mr. Bagiire, was already in his office ready for work.
The next question Amos asked me was simple but powerful:
“Have you learnt a lesson?”
Today we had to say yes.
He then added something that really hit me:
“If I can wake up this early at 53 years old, what about you young boys?”
That moment reminded us that discipline and time management are the backbone of success. Missing that meeting was painful because it was a valuable opportunity, and honestly, missing appointments is not our habit.
After that, we held a short meeting right there in the parking area to regroup, discuss a few things, and plan ahead for the #Rwenzori Marathon international marketing campaign, starting with the Kilimanjaro Marathon on 22nd March.
Sometimes the best lessons in business come from the moments we miss. Today was one of those days. We learn, we adjust, and we move forward stronger.
Thank you @wekesa_amos for always opening The Doors
