Genuinely and think I speak for many people who would be interested in voting but who haven't got the time to diligently follow socials: 1) How do people know there is something important to vote on? 2) How do people vote? Governance is powerful when friction is removed, so with that in mind this is the best user facing voting mechanism my mind is able to think of: --> People who are eligible to vote get a push request on their mobile device alerting them of an important vote, where they have the initial choice to watch a video and vote, or let their DREP vote for them. --> The contents of the push request quickly bring people of as many different learning styles up to date with the information (impartially created pros and cons of voting yes or no etc) they need to know for the vote as quickly as possible, so this needs to cover people who learn from reading, and people who learn from listening, and people who learn by watching. (Ideally a video with subtitles as it covers all 3 learning styles). --> After watching the video people have the choice to vote from the push request itself... potentially after qualifying they understood what they just watched by answering some questions, or to delegate their vote to their DREP. --> The vote recognises all of their ADA holdings across multiple wallets "for votes which are not 1 person = 1 vote" --> The voter should be able to change their vote at any time up to the closing date of the vote, and this includes changing to voting themself instead of their DREP voting for them. --> Ideally a pictorial metric showing the real time vote metrics should be quickly and easily available within what is likely an APP too, with % ADA voted, and the % Yes, % No and % abstained being shown, as well as metrics showing what percentage of those %s are from DREPs and what % is from real decentralised voters, ideally color organised, for example Green for yes, yellow for abstain and red for no, with differing shades of green, yellow and red for decentralised voters and for DREP voters. PS: I remember signing up to IdeaScale in the past and found it too difficult to use (is that still the voting mechanism?). PPS: I'm not really sure how people without large social media followings can put forward ideas on how to fix what they perceive as points of friction in the current system and be heard? (again, not much time to devote to that but as and when people do have ideas they should be able to quickly and easily promote those ideas into an arena of people who can take the ideas to the next level if deemed good enough. I think that was the idea of IdeaScale but for me it fell far short of what I would perceive as being a good platform as there were so many pain points to that system, from joining and creating an account, to creating idea titles deemed properly formatted, to creating main body text deemed properly formatted etc, and then the sheer explosion of activity from many people fighting to have their thoughts heard created immediate overwhelm and brain fatigue for those whose learning styles are not reading and for those who have limited time in their lives to be able to use the platform. The pain I felt when using that platform caused an avoidance mindset which meant my vote was never cast or heard.

After reflecting deeply on this governance process, a few things are clearer to me than ever. Cardano is alive. The community is engaged. And that matters more than any single vote. But this process has shown me something important: Cardano's governance is real. You are not passive holders. You are owners. That is exactly what we built this for. It has also reminded me that when Cardano has needed it most, the Pentad delivered. IOG, EMURGO, the Cardano Foundation, Midnight Foundation, and Intersect have proven they can coordinate and bring critical integrations to life when the ecosystem needed it. That coordination layer matters now more than ever. So let me show up the way I should. I will be in Singapore for the Cardano Summit and I will be on stage. I am also personally committing to partially top up our Token2049 sponsorship to Title level. Being on that main stage is where Cardano and Midnight need to be heard. To the Pentad, I am inviting all of you to sit down and have a real conversation about the future of governance and how we formalise this coordination going forward. I am 100% focused on Cardano and Midnight. Always have been. Let me prove it. #strongertogether

The main problem with Cardano is the people who joined the community for number go up reasons. That motivation leads to a depressive PTSD style mindset when their hopes and expectations have not been met within the allowable scope of time they'd imagined. When people use phrases like "with a gun to their head" it speaks volumes to the internal turmoil cascading through their own mind, so in that sense I hope you're ok and have access to any emotional help in life you feel you may or may not need. With that said, I have to say it's sad to read posts like yours. They read like an emotional vent, and whether intentional or not, they are designed with words to incite hatred, which again speaks volumes to your own state of mind. As an influencer whether you realise it or not, you are responsible for the emotional health and wellbeing of others, because words have power and influence. When you choose to use platforms like this to lash out and vent, all you are doing is harming people you don't even realise you're harming, essentially dragging other people further down the path you already seem to be on, and when you use inflammatory phrases like "like a gun to the head*, whether you realise it or not you are dragging some of those people, perhaps ex-comrades (if you're military trained) one step closer to either lashing out in public or even taking their own lives. I hope in future posts you can be more mindful of this and aspire to be and do better, for yourself, and for others.

@Indigo_protocol Hi I broke the website by not visiting it in AGES and then trying to claim. Also unable to withdraw Indigo too as the claim process needs to occur at the same time for the withdrawal to proceed. The screen fills up with transaction text and the wallet then never prompts to sign any message. The Console error is: TxBuilderError: { Complete: Selected 4 inputs as collateral, but max collateral inputs is 3 to cover the 5000000 and then a load of tx build data

The only way to solve this problem is through enhanced geothermal systems like Eavor eavor.com A decade of focused effort could result in a turnkey and modular way to scale these up. Then charge a AI power tax on the large AI companies to subsidize retrofitting every data center to have a geothermal system.
Andrew Côté@Andercot

This is the footprint ratio of data center to solar panels in the sunniest country in the world. Yeah, I think we're gonna have to go nuclear.

👇 A Story About Linda 👇 Let me tell you a story about Linda (@Cryptofly777) I can see that she has been under attack all day. About five months ago, some influencers asked me for 3% of the $SONG supply in exchange for four weeks of support for the project @songoncardano (Songmarketcap). Some asked for $3,000. One person asked me for $5,000 just for consulting. Then one person even asked us for 5% of the supply in exchange for support. We rejected all of them. We have never paid anyone to mention us. And then Linda came along. It was two thirty in the middle of the night. I will never forget it. After already working for 17 hours that day, my head was dropping, my body was no longer listening, but I had to keep going. I had to learn more. I had to grow. I had to give just a little more of myself to my dreams, because time keeps moving. So I posted some joke on X, some song, and I mentioned Linda. She replied immediately and said: make the song. You have my permission. A song called Linda. And we made it. She put her full name, her charisma, and all the respect she had built over the years on the line for us. She supported us publicly with several comments, several retweets, and several posts. She loved the song. She supported our journey, our story, and our dreams. For free. 👉 She did not ask for anything. 👉 She did not take anything. 👉 She only gave love, support, and respect. And she gave all of that at a time of constant rug pulls in the market, when 99% of projects after a 10x do a rug, when nobody wants to take a risk, when nobody wants to support anyone even when they are paid to do it. But she supported us. We did not get rich. We made only 250 NFT songs and priced them at just $6. Stuff_io took 30% for minting. From what remained, we returned 50% back into the $SONG ecosystem, and we burned another 10% of STUFF. So our clean revenue was $420. As you can guess, we did not get rich. We sold out in 45 seconds. And she took a risk with her audience of more than 30,000 people. She took a risk by supporting us, because what if it was a scam? What if it was a rug? What if it was a fraud? And she still supported us. Because she supports the Cardano ecosystem. Because she supports builders. Because she supports those who dream, those who believe in something better, in a better tomorrow for us and for our children. And we will remember that forever. For @songoncardano, it is a great responsibility, an honor, and an obligation to justify that trust, to justify that honor, and to justify the fact that she supported us for free while others were asking for tokens, money, and a chance to create hype and rug their own community. And one more thing. This text is about Linda because today she is the topic. But there are many other wonderful people who supported us and never asked for anything in return: @CryptoWendyO , @LaPetiteADA , @DanielTetsuyama and @palmeconomy , @Tokeo_io , @adahandle , @Padierfind , @RareEvo , @stuff_io , @nmkr_io , @IOHK_Charles and many others... We asked only for love. We returned only love. Everything on Cardano and for Cardano. So dear Linda, keep going... ❤️ Love you

The edge AI market is set to hit $37 billion this year. The devices are ready. The models are ready. You can run small language models on a $50 Raspberry Pi. What's missing? The infrastructure to orchestrate billions of distributed devices across owners, locations, and connectivity conditions. Cloud can't do it. Centralized control breaks at the edge. That's the problem NuNet solves Full breakdown on our blog 👇 x.com/nunet_global/s…

We deployed a fully private AI agent on NuNet in under 5 minutes 🚀 @openclaw running @Alibaba_Qwen through @ollama , one of the hottest open source model families right now, entirely on decentralized compute. No cloud. No API keys. No data leaving the machine. This is what private AI looks like when you actually build it instead of just talking about it. Your model. Your hardware. Your rules. Full walkthrough showing exactly how it works: youtu.be/KXpoorhADuo What should we deploy next?
