I’ve been to A LOT of oyster bars. There’s a bunch of greats ones all across the country. That being said, this one is the best. Great atmosphere, great service, greats views (right on the Washington Channel in The Wharf) and most of all GREAT OYSTERS!! If y’all are in the DC area be sure to check out @RROysters 🦪

@ChrisVictorio They are packed with enough frozen gels to be outside in extreme heat for 72 hours but thx for the heads-up - we will chat with @SouthwestCargo to see what happened here. These boxes don’t travel alone!

@RROysters look at this box of oysters just cooking in the sun at SFO. I hope there is ultimate dry ice in there. I would love to just shuck them right now with a twist of lemon and a thin slice of pickled slice habanero chili.

@MayorBowser CFEnterprises is denying Bridge 3 funding to restaurants like Rappahannock Oyster Bar @ Wharf (Wharf Rapp LLC) by confusing PPP & RRF. They think the programs are the same thing. This is unfair to restaurants like ours that have not received any bridge awards nor RRF

Interesting note - @AquagrillNYC was one of the first restaurants in the country to put Chesapeake Bay oysters (our Rappahannocks and Olde Salts) on the menu. 20 years ago the farming industry was new and bay oysters had previously been wild, muddy & generic.

@kwcollins Not yet. There’s so many businesses in close quarters that we wanted to wait just a little longer. But we are thinking of maybe going some scheduled pickups every couple weeks. We will keep you posted

@kwcollins Our online store can’t deliver on saturdays, just Tuesday through Friday as ups/FedEx has tough time with perishables on weekends. But the wharf pickup is available every day.
