@Balance2Extreme @jeremycorbyn @IDF Over 100,000 tons of bombs dropped into Gaza, killing mostly Hamas fighters, but fewer than 70,00 people in all. The ratio of tonnage of bombs to military AND civilian deaths is lower than all other modern-day wars, including WWII, Vietnam, and Korea. Pretty amazing

@bhardwaj_k9310 What an amazing graphic! I love it.😍 It has nothing to do with objective reality. Too bad. Women make choices, so do men. Women's choices are far broader, don't carry judgmental negativity, & almost always lack accountability. Sorry, I still love the beautiful graphics

The Persons Case (1929) didn’t give Canadian women the vote. They’d already been voting federally for more than a decade by then. If you’re gonna do performative feminism, do it better.

@LilithLLuscious @ingyens0r @otokyo Yup. In most gender "equality" nations, women and men tend towards a greater degree of traditional roles. Cool. The more a nation moves away from gender roles to equality, the more that nation moves back to traditional gender roles. Our ancestors had the right balance.

No. On many counts. Patriarchy is found all around the world with a handful of matriarchies (which for some reason includes where there is gender equality). There are feminist movements all over - including in South Korea where women famously have sworn off sex with men in a sex strike because of patriarchy. See the 4B movement. pbs.org/newshour/polit…

@LilithLLuscious @otokyo I think you mean "Biology" imprisons both men and women. Testosterone puts men at risk of serious harm and death, while estrogen puts women at risk of menopause.

@otokyo With patriarchy telling them that they must play a role and constantly questioning their worth as to whether they are manly enough. It teaches them to be predators and to be seen as predators. Patriarchy imprisons men and women alike, just in different ways. 💜🦇💜

🐝 This beekeeper just dropped the ULTIMATE winter survival hack — and it actually WORKED! 🍯 Watch as she uncovers her hive in spring after following advice from a seasoned local beekeeper: topping the hive with newspaper and a 2-inch layer of sugar. The bees ate right through the paper, feasted on the sugar all winter, stayed warm, and the sugar even absorbed damaging moisture. Survival rates boosted. Hive thriving. Mind officially blown! 🐝 🐝 🐝 Who else is trying this next season? 😮

Ko Tinmaung, a Toronto-based Rohingya activist, has been released after more than 96 hours in Israeli detention following Israel’s hijacking of the Global Sumud Flotilla and the abduction of its civilian participants. His testimony is horrifying. He says he was beaten in a dark room by more than five people, kicked, punched, tasered in multiple places, and handcuffed so tightly that the restraints cut into his wrists and restricted blood flow. He says he still needs treatment for concussion-like injuries. He also says he witnessed other detainees with broken ribs, head wounds, blood from their ears, eye injuries, broken noses and broken teeth. Most gravely, he alleges sexual assaults, including people being tasered on their genitals. Tinmaung’s testimony also exposes the racial dimension of Israeli violence. He says he was mocked as “Ahmed”, assaulted further, laughed at because of his skin colour, and treated as if his passport had no value because he was brown. This was a civilian-led humanitarian mission carrying food, aid and basic supplies to Gaza. So where is Canada? Where are the human rights organisations? Where are the global leadership councils, the moral authorities, the professional defenders of accountability? Silence now is not neutrality. It is complicity. (Video courtesy Forsea.co)

@brianlilley As more "Acknowledgements" pile on, each has less weight. I'd like more acknowledgements, please. Acknowledge the lack of dog bags in public parks, climate change & its effect on the ski industry, and the mental health crisis in the watermelon nation. Let's add these first.

This is absolutely ridiculous. All of it, not just the addition of a “drug toxicity” acknowledgment to the existing land and African ancestral acknowledgements. The City of Toronto is not functioning well, basic services are a disaster, and this is what they are focussed on.

Daniela Bonamico, fresh from her flight from Turkey paid by Canadian tax dollars, already starts with the outlandish claims that: -She was in a concentration camp -There were flotilla members who were shot & stabbed -A flashbang was thrown in her cell that "sliced me open." -All Israelis are terrorists. -Blames Canada 100% for her kidnap & "torture." -That @Israel & its 10 million citizens will cease to exist in the near future. -Calling for Intifada at the airport. This was all done under approval & protection of @TorontoPearson Airport authority who decided their airport was a political stage to call for murder of Israelis rather than a place to transport Canadians. We are sure places like @CBC and @CTV will eat this up and not look at Daniela Bonamico's heavy digital footprint of being one of the most prominent Jew haters in Canada.

The world is about to get a master class in antisemitism. Israel's minister Ben Gvir's behavior towards the flotilla activists was unacceptable. I said so myself. World leaders all posted angry denunciations of the Israeli government and summoned Israeli ambassadors for a dressing down. Here, the same activists are receiving much more brutal treatment at the hands of the Spanish government. What we won't see however is an international outcry against the Spanish government. This imbalance isn't due to the vagaries of international diplomacy. People hold the Jewish state to a higher standard than they do any other state, and fundamentally it's due of bigotry and hatred. @AnitaAnandMP

Islamists flying to Minnesota completely took over the flight and began harassing flight attendants who repeatedly asked them to sit. The entire “free Palestine” movement should be on the no fly-list.

Unbelievable. This girl has been banned from the University of Guelph campus FOR LIFE due to being in the vicinity of her family members conversation with a group of people. The Campus Safety Office felt that what they were talking about was sufficient enough to ban her & her family member from being anywhere on University of Guelph property forever. Canada is in trouble.

The guy arrested for firing 14 bullets into a Jewish-owned restaurant, DURING PASSOVER, has a name. Mohamed Mahdi. It’s in the Toronto Police news release. CBC didn’t use it. CTV didn’t use it. Global didn’t use it. Canadian Press didn’t use it. Every major Canadian outlet quoted the police release. Every one of them omitted the name that was IN the release. I’m sure it’s just a coincidence 🙄
