@JeanBismuth I pay several hundred dollars a year for these disposable scrubs at one hospital. The entire outfit is technically a plastic product and 100% waste. I’ve recommended to the hospital that I’d rather pay for laundered scrubs and not produce soo much waste. No response of course.

Yes $7 a pair. If they go to multiple hospitals per day that can certainly add up, on top of often expensive vendor credentialing, and in many hospitals parking, and then supply chain at hospitals want a product discount! I’d say they already ate up that discount!

@sternvascular We had a similar situation flying back from Paris. Luckily United texted us in the middle of the night to notify us of the delay. The technology does exist!

Now 3.5 hrs after we were supposed to take off, we don't have the "right equipment to start the engine"... Seems like there was plenty of extra time to figure that out don't you think?

Informed at 5am on my way to SFO this morning that 7am @AirCanada flight to Toronto was delayed 3h. Ok... Now on flight an announcement that it was due to late arrival last night and requisite hrs off for crew. Might have been nice to know this YESTERDAY. Brutal customer service.

@VascSurgMD @GChadHughesMD @WSJ I guess I am old school. The catholic nuns drilled 2 spaces after a period deep into my brain, anything else feels unnatural. This might be a slippery slope argument... in 10-20 years maybe no period or single space just run-on sentences!

@GChadHughesMD @WSJ It’s kind of a victory dance ... two spaces after documenting a nice thought, and yes... it looks better ! I also learned to type from militant Nuns... My therapy on that issue is almost complete. 🤫

I used to always add 2 spaces after my residents' sentences when editing research papers but have slowly given up. I learned to type in HS on a typewriter How many spaces should go after a period, one or two? Two-spacers face a few more setbacks. wsj.com/articles/peopl… via @WSJ
