she redevelops an infected subcutaneous “tract” for which we do I&D and now her wound spans from her umbilicus to her inguinal region. Multiple different bacteria have been cultured. She has a history of multiple superficial wound infections in her life even for mosquito bites.

I have a 26 year old female pt. 6 months s/p laparoscopic excision of endometriosis. Since her surgery we have taken her to the OR at least 8 times for multiple I&D for recurrent wound infection. Every 2-3 wks after with a VAC or wet to dry packing #PriorityHealth @PriorityHealth
